B"H, would ALL Christians say "If Mother won't go, it won't hinder me"? Especially since WHO can say what judgement will be. Imagine if a person keeps a record of all her/his good deeds and the not-so-good deeds, and does repentance on the not-good. What about the GOOD deeds? Were they done selflessly, or maybe once a year we might do a good deed especially since the Church Folk are looking on....Are we criminal,police and judge all in One?

In EVERY religion but ONE we find 2 themes. 1) Each person can achieve her/his own salvation.2) That NO one will achieve salvation until the Messiah reveals himself, the and the rising of the dead. This is so in 2 different thoughts of Buddhism,Christianity, Islam,etc.Torah Judaism though says that ALL HUMANS regardless of which religion may achieve a portion in the World To Come (when Messiah reveals himself, and at the time of the rising of the Dead. (Not that ALL Jews will, or no Gentiles may, but each on a personal basis, BUT the THEME is that there is NO Salvation until all those receive it together as one. Until then the souls in Heaven REST each in their abode and rise closer to G-d. CLOSER is not much. The number 1 compared to Infinity and the number 1 Billion compared to Infinity are all the same. Close.
