Which of the bolt action pens is the snappiest?
@agabrielhegartygaby9203Ай бұрын
Thanks for letting me know that big idea design are not locally made. My husband and I love the aesthetic and once I got the collet actually moving on the T1 Arte it's wonderfully balanced and one of my favorite pens. I'm wondering if they are kind of gaslighting a bit because this is the first time I hear not made in the US. Unfortunately threw out 1/2 the packaging but made in china is not on the main box it came in. Excellent Video....G PS some of us want to buy made in the US....

Hi. What is the included orings used for ?

If you want to get rid of that gritty spring noise, I cleaned mine and put some Frog Lube inside the pen. It’s buttery smooth now.

A very nice review but you didn't speak to how it actually writes. How does it feel in the hand during extensive note taking etc. I'm a lefty as well and pens / ink reloads sometimes smear, or I get hand cramps having to hold the pen at an "off" angle to effectively write. I'd be very interested in your opinions on this, particularly comparing it to the Tactile Turn Slim Bolt. Thanks so much!

I typically don't get into the writing performance because it's more based on the refill and in this case, you can use pretty much any refill you prefer. In terms of the feel in hand, the silhouette is quite agreeable and the grips aren't overly harsh or anything. In comparison to the TT Slim Bolt, it feels less solid because it is less solid, the adjustable nature of the BiD means that there's a level of play built in. Although they do a good job of dialing any looseness out. So only those with a tighter spec'd comparable would notice any difference.

Hi, really enjoyed the video. How's the texture of surface of the raw version? Does it have the characteristic roughness of titanium which is very useful for a writing equipment?
@AverageBros6 ай бұрын
The raw has micro texture from the machineing to promote a grip that doesn't feel overly aggressive

this pen vs. the smooth precision?
@AverageBros Жыл бұрын
Smooth Precision is top tier, this is more of a solid middle range

I was initially interested in the raw machined titanium color, but that stonewashed looks great too.. in person, which color did you like better? Perhaps the raw machined looks abit cheaper I'm thinking now
@AverageBros Жыл бұрын
It's tough, they both look great. I probably prefer the raw, as to my eye, it appears a bit more refined. While I do agree that the stonewashed looks killer as well, even maybe a bit more cohesive with the rugged design aesthetic.

@@AverageBros argh, this is super tough! And still an opinion in the end but maybe I'll order both and return one. Anyways, thanks alot for your input! Appreciate it

damn, I just bought this exact pen... If I would have watched before purchasing when you mentioned it is manufactured in China I wouldn't have bothered with it.

I read they are top heavy. Is that so? That'd be really annoying.
