Bleach is amazingly well written. Just in a way people don't expect. Bleach ending is actually very satisfying when it comes to the deep message.

i learned a new theme that this arc was going for after watching this video. Progress by putting trust into the future, and regression/stillness when dwelling in the past. this video gave me a whole new meaning for the arc and watching the anime continue to add more lore just makes it even better. Bleach is such an amazing series man.

It's actually beautiful how two manifestations of Yhwach's power- namely, Zangetsu and Jugram, played a role in his defeat. Jugram broke Ichigo's false bankai, which ended up with him on a discovery of himself and his heritage, leading to him getting stronger and confident. And more importantly, it inspired hope. Even if that moment, it was despair. Yhwach, on the other hand, causes despair that leads to further despair, no hope in the equation. He tells Ichigo to have hope, only to destroy it again. Which is such a contrast to OMZ, who 'loves' Ichigo in a way that always wants him to be safe, but is also deeply touched by how far he's come. That said, Yhwach's defeat was mostly because of his children. Ryuken worked in the sidelines, through his grief, and created an arrow out of his own wife's heart to make an opening for the duo of Ichigo and Uryu. Haschwalth ultimately stood for progress, to preserve the world, the ultimate 'balance', something which Yhwach couldn't understand (Jugram also cared about people deeply, unlike him). Uryu finds his conviction and stands boldly against Yhwach with Ichigo himself- who delivers the final blow because the others paved a way for him. A man who could see the future, sought to regress the world into its original state- which is the antithesis of true progress. Fitting for this arc.

Not only that, Ywach also killed the very person who represented stagnation: Yamamoto, which led to the Soul Reapers getting a new headcaptain who was more open minded: Kyoraku and he both Freed Aizen and allowed Kenny to learn his Shikai. Not to forget that Kyoraku also actually went to Ichigo's friends, thus showing that he didn't view himself as above relying on humans like Yama did. With Yama gone, Soul Society could fully embrace Progress, the path it was on mostly thanks to Ichigo.

I never considered that Uryu being Ywach’s antithesis would also apply to their relationship with their fathers. Originally, Uryu hated his father and wanted to reject him and his choices. But once he understands the truth behind his father’s actions, they’re able to finally connect after their heart was destroyed so long ago. And that connection became a key component to defeating Ywach. Ywach could never find this resolution with his father. He was too concerned with returning to the old world to consider if his father would actually want that. That’s why he’s so confused when one of Reio’s arms defies him to keep the world in place. He had assumed he was fighting in Reio’s name and for his goals but he never truly understood Reio, as he was never able to form a heart with anyone.
@wwe121532 ай бұрын
did he really think he was fight in Reio's name ? then why was he laughing like a maniac when he forced ichigo to kill reio while saying "Every quincy will kill reio" ?
@tailez6062 ай бұрын
@@wwe12153 I think the interpretation would be that Yhwach is working with the premise that the Reio does not want such an existence. The majority of quincies of course were born of Yhwach, so they will inherit his will, and also his interpretations. He was laughing because Ichigo thought he had a choice in the matter, but being a descendant of Yhwach, he inherited the same will to kill the Soul King.
@wwe121532 ай бұрын
@@tailez606 that’s different from “fighting in reio’s name” That being said. Yhwach explained that normal quincy will curse reio because he abandoned them. Combined with his facial expression that indicates satisfaction. Why would someone go to such a far interpretation when there is a more logical one? + yuha knows that reio saw the future and let it happen
@Atticus-Catnipp2 ай бұрын
Finally someone who understands. If Mimihagi really was a Quincy that inherited Reio’s resentment towards the soul reapers. Than Ukitake’s whole life wouldn’t have happened. Adnyeus hoped for soul society. Pernida and Gerard would never help or understand someone’s pleading. This is how Yhwach goes about his army. He wants them to be as dark, cold and ruthless as he is. Even after entering his father’s memories, he still makes it sound like the soul reapers are the absolute villains and he in the right.

I thought Yuha Bach's defeat was illogical, but I retracted this after the video. It is clear that Yuha Bach's defeat had reasons and personalities that were planned, and there is a very Oreo theory. Well, in short, it is not just a stupid arrow that defeats him, but rather things that are based on factors external to Yuha Bach's ability.
@chavaspada2 ай бұрын
It's a combination of all the clues to defeat him. Almighty sees and changes the future, Kyoka Suigetsu obscured his sight, Book of End changed the past, Saten Keshun rejected the events that were going to pass and the Antithesis is outside Yhwach's sight (also I'm pretty sure Uryu will get mimihagi's powers in the anime, during his fight with senjumaru his hand showed mimihagi).

There's a thought I had about the Soul King - he obviously possessed the Almighty and could both see and change the future, and still allowed himself to be chopped up and placed in that crystal. I think he saw the future up to the point of his own death and possibly was aware that his own suffering would only be temporary, with the added benefit of creating a world where "courage" existed. Yhwach does not know anything about this plan and I would go as far as to say that he might be part of the Soul King's will, manifested as a sort of "backup measure" in case the created worlds do not have the required components to remain properly balanced. Then if Yhwach were to succeed, the world resets to its primordial state, the Soul King is somehow reborn, and the creation of the 3 worlds can be done again, this time with slightly different variables. Repeat until Yhwach is defeated, meaning the 3 worlds are in balance. Idk how the Hell realm plays into this though.
