Ordered the Revlon Revitalift Eye Serum...hope I ordered the correct one. I use coconut oil to remove my make-up. At 85, my mother had no brown spots. Her secret was apple cider vinegar. She used a small amount in the water when she washed dishes. Never had brown spots...received compliments on her lovely slender hands all the time❣️ At 70, I don’t have the spots either. I apply a capful to soapy water in a sink for few minutes every day. Then I rinse, dry & apply coconut oil. Have a beautiful day!

Palm Springs Cindy You could have blown me away! I was just using the Avon Ultima in place of my other products so that I wouldn’t run out while I’m away. Patti, Honestly, I was not only surprised, but shocked. I have always used my high price point products that I have used for years, but never got results like this. I never even expected anything but to moisturize my face. Brett said the lash serum has really worked for her. I hope it will for me, also. I will go to NYC to pick up my husband the end of October and then after a few weeks in the city will fly back home to Florida with him. Last year at this time we were running to Nashville from Irma. You’re absolutely right about the French products. I always buy my perfumes on EBay because I only buy the testers. Those are the real ones. The others are watered down. So, it’s best to find a good distributor ( you can tell by their ratings) and buy the testers. I love your videos. I’m 57 and I love your wisdom. Blessings.

Hi Sandra, I have't thought about Avon in...I hate to say it..but a decade or more! I really enjoyed hearing about these products and am thinking I may need to try some of them out! Love that it is CF. I also found it very interesting what you had to say about french perfume...I LOVE a good french perfume however I have never had the opportunity to visit France and purchase it there.. I always assumed it was the exact same if you purchased it from an authorized dealer in the US...kind of makes me sad now as my perfume was always my big "splurge." Carol, It has been raining ( as you can see from my intro) here, too. The last two days have been chilly, too. Yes, I really had negated Avon until my daughter started giving me products. I am really truthful when I talked about he ANEW Ultimate. I was not expecting any results whatsoever. I am truly shocked at how well it has worked for me. Sandra, You are a joy to watch. I have that crazy frizzy hair too - LOL - I used the Frizz Ease products years ago when they first came out and they do work! I use Wen now and some other hair products and blow dry my hair straight. The Wen works well for me (been using it for about 12 years now) and I could never go back to regular shampoo. I think you look great and I was thinking how great you looked when your video started today - so maybe we all should start using that Avon product! Sandra, Yes, the high-end and luxury brands can be so convincing - I do love them!! Of course, some of them work and some don't! If you decide to try Wen, it is best to buy it from QVC.com; they have the best prices and watch for them when they are on a 'Today's Special Value' or on their sister channel, BeautyIQ.com as a 'Daily Steal'. That is when the prices are really the best as it can be quite expensive-- but I have found it works the best for my hair. I've tried 'knock-offs', in the store (they are called cleansing conditioners or some similar name), but the knock-offs are just not the same to me. My husband's hair is a little longer and he also has unruly hair and he uses it too!! (I sound like an infomercial!) It's just that when you find something that works so well for you, you want to tell everyone! Well, anyway, I hope you have a great time in NYC - I live an hour outside of the city and I do love it, although I don't get there as much as I would like to! Safe travels and take care, Ginny 😘😘😘

Thanks for sharing this informative video. I had the brown spots on my hands removed via laser treatment at my dermatologist's office. They "zapped" the age spots and over several days, the spots turn darker! After several weeks (for me at least..it took about 4 or 5 weeks... the brown spots flaked off. I think it helped a lot.

Robin, Through her I rediscovered Avon. They were the first company to use the current anti- wrinkle components in their skincare. I had forgotten that completely. They are also heavy donators to women’s charities. It is a company that has always put emphasis on empowering women. Way before it was ‘chic’ to do so. I really am enjoying my products. I started using Latisse last April. My daughter lives in another state so we don't get to see each other a whole lot. But when we met up in August she thought I was wearing false eyelashes! I love the product! If you go on the Goodrx site they offer coupons that make Latisse very reasonable.

Though they do not wear makeup, they do use skin care. The Amish ladies would even recognize my friend’s car and start running to the fence. Alas, Skin so Soft was not on the market yet. Love you!

It's so true, we end up using what works for us. I've fallen for ads, like everybody else, and I'm a sucker for packaging. You can reel me in just with a leather lipstick case. When you mentioned Avon's Skin So Soft, that lotion, back in the day, won all kinds of awards, it's that good. Avon doesn't have any exposure really, and all people remember about Avon, is the rep coming to the house and think the company is stuck in some sort of time capsule, but you'll find, as I did, years ago, they have some really great products. They even had some great fashion jewelry pieces back in the day.

Hi Sandra, I am interested to find out how the eyelash serum works. I have used careprost serum for a couple of years and my lashes are long and full. It amazes me every time I put on mascara. I enjoyed the video today and I hope the rest of your trip is great.

Sharon, I know Careprost contains Bimatoprost Ophthalmic Solution, which according to my pharmacist friend/fashionista, Linda, is a lower concentration form used by popular lash serums on the market at .03%. The Avon product does not have that ingredient. It contains unique serum, with a peptide blend and botanicals, is designed to dramatically enhance the look of your lashes. In just weeks, lashes look longer, fuller and healthier. Keep using the product that works for you. That was the ‘after’ shot after using the Avon Ultima for 1 month. I don’t have a ‘before’ because I wasn’t even using it to expect results. My daughter gave it to me just as a moisturizer in case my other products ran out before I got back home. I am shocked st the results. I don’t know if it will do the same for others, but it sure did for me. ❤️. Sandra

Do you know if the Avon wrinkle cream can be mixed with retin a? It says that it is a night cream.

Gee, don’t know, but why not. Your skin will tell you if it likes it or not. I sometimes use retinol and it has had no adverse reaction. I would read the product ingredients. Avon night cream: Multi Performance Night Cream: The formulation of this Avon Anew Ultimate product is similar to the day cream, but without the SPF protection. It is meant to be applied to the skin before bed time, and includes ingredients like glycolic acid, to reduce wrinkles through chemical exfoliation; palmitoyl tetrapeptide 7, to reduce inflammation and associated aging processes; and grape seed extract, to hydrate the skin and restore the moisture barrier.❤️ Retin a is rather strong, so it might be better to use the Avon on the nights you are not using it. Linda, I use oil and baking soda combination as an exfoliant only. I then remove it with botanical oils and then the herbal wipes for sensitive skin. Sounds crazy, I know, but it has always worked for me. Just a tiny amount of backing soda does the job. Just enough to polish off the dead skin cells. ❤️. Sandra

I always thought Avon was underrated. We all, myself included , seem to think if a tube of lipstick costs $52.00, it's got to be good. Does it? Not really, we're paying for a huge name on that tube. I'm still trying to wrap my head around a $400.00 hair dryer and a curling iron over $200.00 that doesn't even have a temperature control on it..........I've used Avon eyeliners for years now. Just like Clinique, it's a moderate priced cosmetic line with a great moisturizer. I love their chubby stick lipsticks and find myself reaching for them a lot more then my $52.00 a tube lipsticks. And, if you look at this new craze of foundations in stick form. It's nothing new, Merle Norman had stick foundations back in the 50's, it was called Pan Stick, and again, Merle Norman has some nice products. We are all caught up in these big name brand products, we see the fancy ads in magazines, it's all about exposure. You don't really see Avon advertised, and most people don't want to deal with an Avon rep . coming to the house. I understand that, and I buy my few Avon products online. I think we get caught up in taking that fancy lipstick tube out of our purse like it's some sort of status symbol. It's all about advertising. If you know how to market your product, and can afford to put your product line in all the big magazines , like Vogue, Town & Country, or if you have this fancy display in Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf's, etc. people will pay those inflated prices. The same holds true of perfumes. I've done the same thing, buy a tiny bottle of perfume that has a price on it like it was a mortgage payment, and yet receive the most compliments on my $18 bottle of perfume. All the top designer lipsticks now advertise that they stay on your lips for 12 hours or more. Avon lipsticks, since the beginning of time had lipstick like that, and they didn't even promote it as long lasting, but it was, it lasted forever on your lips. Think about this, nobody wants to walk down the street with a shopping bag that says Avon on it........we want a bag from Tom Ford, or Chanel, or some other fancy name. And if we admit it to ourselves, yes, it is true. Not saying that those brands don't have excellent products, because yes, they do, but it also doesn't mean that all Avon products are inferior either. It just is put in another category altogether. Anyway, just my opinion.

Lisa, I always enjoy your posts. You tell it like it is and I love that. Everything you say is true to our current beauty trends. I have moved past the image thing and only use what works for me! Avon was the first company to use the anti- aging products that the other companies are now using. They were the forerunners in so many things. Empowering women for one. I have two high end products that I have used for years because they worked for me, but this Avon product, at least on my skin, has put them to shame. I’m not saying it will work for everyone, but it sure has for me and I was not afraid to put it out there. Great and smart post again, Lisa.
