I just watch at home by myself while I eat dinner, but I kinda miss these smaller top-down puzzles. You've been doing a lot of the multi-step/stage puzzle boxes lately, which I like, but they aren't as satisfying as puzzles like this, imo. either way, love your stuff, always.

I find myself doing one of two things with your vids Chris. 1) I put them on to watch a solve because I do not have the patience or attention span to complete any of these puzzles. Your excitement around the puzzles you solve and the awe you have for the genius behind each creation is a nice serotonin enhancer. Or 2) I put videos I’ve already watched on after a really stressful/crappy period of time (especially in terms of my depression induced insomnia) to just relax and get a nap in. You’ve got a calm voice and the little clicky clacks of the puzzles have an almost ASMR kind of quality for me.

It’s really unsatisfying, his big hand fumbling the pieces around reminds me of the awkwardness of hand-cleaning glasses when there is a stain at the bottom. Furthermore it doesn’t look realistic at all with the rounded edges in the center and the ice sticking out makes it even more uncomfortable to watch. The pieces are crooked and barely align. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Hey Chris, my fellow Canadian dude. I have always loved your magic, especially your slight of hand card stuff. But as someone with a physical disability (cerebral palsy) which makes my hand muscles very tight and decreases fine motor skills, I've always wanted to find a way to do what you do. Could you possibly do a tutorial with some work-arounds for people like me who want to learn??
@Grant-H2O
@Grant-H2O 3 жыл бұрын
Interesting you would ask for a tutorial when he no longer shows "THE MOVE" or any moves. I forgot why though... whoops sorry There's a saying that I picked up when I started learning ... 8 or 9 months now.. The saying to yourself I will get this done "By Any Means Necessary" youll find a way to make THE MOVE happen. I was lucky enough to read Royal Road to Card Magic it was the start of a passion rather than just a hobby. Torrent that book if you don't want to pay the 5 bucks or whatever but get it and read the thing start to finish...(until the routine part, you'll know when you get there) at that point you will see how much work and time you'll need to put in to accomplish your vision of magic and perform at a level you are happy with. check out daniel maddison he will tell you the start the end and the everything of what needs to be done to create a magical moment for someone you love. Never give up Balance your goals along side your health and wellness of mind then you'll always succeed. heh what am I talking about Im just some idiot with a keyboard Good Luck Victoria!

Consider helping someone who asks even if you don't have an actual answer your experience might help. I see people with the answer and they wont speak up. Maybe because the fear of being wrong. Don't be afraid of your experience and share your thoughts with love. I struggle to do that myself, anger gets in my way everyday and I fear my mind is wandering towards the darkness. Thoughts in the back of my mind telling me something is wrong when I believe, and everyone tells me, I'm ok everything is fine. Its a strange feeling so I hope that helps you understand I am just 1 person with 1 keyboard with no "traditional" education in any field or at any level. I mainly watch to help me go to sleep but normaly the bigger puzzle vidoes as there is less chance of scary adverts popping up between vidoes before I’ve fallen asleep (I have ptsd and have bad enough time sleeping as it is scary things make it worse) I also watch these when I’m doing art projects or when writing my book that I’ve been writing for 10 years now (since I was 10 years old) I just find your voice and the music really soothing and helps my adhd to calm down I also find holding a rubber duckie helps calm my adhd down not a clue why 😂

I’m fascinated by the imagination and innovation and tech skills behind so many of the puzzles on this channel. It’s amazing. I just had a fantastic 2, Sunday in advent dinner and some good wine and now I’m chilling before playing an exit game ‘The Secret Lab and we have riddle on the advent exit game to solve. It’s incredibly addictive solving riddles and puzzles. This puzzle is beautiful. The inventor has a great mind.

I watch your videos to fall asleep. I also am autistic and have a special interest in puzzles, so this helps me hyper focus while also allowing myself to relax. And if I watch during the day, it’s probably as a break from my favorite puzzle-involved video games :) (professor Layton games are my favorites)

I love watching these while I unwind over a cup of coffee. I typically drink it before I sleep, or if I'm off work, for the night. If I'm looking for a boost, I'll get a Red Bull, but when it comes to coffee, I just drink it to relax and reminisce. It also helps me sleep.
