-Sarah & Nathan sit down and discuss the in's and out's of her weekly DYN training, in preparation for 160m in competition. You'll get an inside view of the athlete's and coach's perspective on what we're doing and why.

This video marks the end of Sarah's latest Training cycle.
These past 2 weeks, Sarah finished up peaking in prep for competition.
-She did 2x: 140m Dives (matching here previous comp PB), with significantly improved dive quality compared to here last cycle. This was evidence that the training worked perfectly.
-Unfortunately a 'stomach flu' sent us both to the doctors office on the 1st morning of the competition. Sarah had it worse, with an elevated pulse-rate & very low blood pressure (obvious BO & LMC risk factors). I trust her feedback completely and when she said she didn't feel right, I knew there was something wrong.

In this video we discuss;
-- One of the most important parts of long-term training: Being responsible with your health & kind enough to yourself to know when you should 'do the dive anyway' and when it's the smartest long-term decision to just cut your losses and take a break.
(Obviously, this isn't what we wanted to talk about on the last video.. But it is an important part of training, competition, and being a freediving. When you know you're not feel right, "just going for it" is NEVER the right thing to do.)
