On the Spot: Western Star 57X Walkaround

Western Star's premium highway truck, the 57X, is the newest truck in the X-series line up. It boasts the latest in safety technology, a new digital dashboard, and host of other features the company says will boost fuel economy more than five percent above the 5700XE.
HDT's Equipment Editor Jim Park takes us on a walk around, highlighting the new exterior features of the 57X.

Hell Yeah!!! The all-new Western Star Cascadia! It's the exact same as the Freightliner Cascadia....except its costs an extra 10 to 20k because it has a Western Star badge instead!

I DRIVE THE WESTERN 57X ON MY TRUCKING SIMULATOR, AND THAT TRUCK MANUVERS VERY WELL, ALSO THAT TRUCK IS VERY FUEL EFFICENT I GET 12 MILES PER GALLON ON THE HIGHWAY AND 13 MILES PER GALLON IN THE CITY, I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS TRUCK

I would rather have a. Cummins engine . And the side box are to small . I would rather have them open so I can put my broom , fluids , straps and load locks
