Complete spin doctoring by media about the budget deficit. That wasnt Jesses fault. He vetoed that budget & warned it would create a deficit but the state senate forced it thru anyway. The bills that Jesse signed off to himself actually put Minnesota in an economic boom.

-He took the state from a 3 billion dollar surplus to a $4.5 billion deficit during his Governorship. -He backed and promoted light rail project for his choo choo train buddies and that continues to suck the life out of the state revenues to this day as it has never been profitable: Ultimately the light rail has become Gang Turf in Minneapolis and anything it connects to. -How about working for XL sports/ moonlighting as announcer during his Governorship: Tacky -How about the fact he was never a Navy Seal, yet has used that Lie to get him into Hollywood and Government office in the first place. - *NEVER* fired a bullet at the enemy in Vietnam, *NEVER* got fired at. *NO COMBAT EXPERIENCE* - It doesn't take a genius to see what Jesse is, all you need to do is see he (and his son) are spokesman for RT (Russian TV) spewing Anti-American propaganda.

Technically Ventura was elected as a Reform, but joined the Independence Party in 2000. Also that election marked the only time the Reform Party gained a major government office.
