Yes and no, this classic contrarian media. But all you have to do is look at the ownership of the various media and you can see how the media interviewer will react. I saw one hosted by some guy who didn't even seem a journalist and basically lobbed comments for him to run with. But this is simply simplistic journalism and looks for basic logic inconsistencies that make zero sense. In this case, its "if you complain about the media talking about your family, how is it different that wikileaks is allowed to". Thats classic media sophistry, the logic is as absurd as anything in monty python. First of all wikileaks is NOT gossip, second it was vetted by journalists, third what happened in Libya was a WAR CRIME, where the US helped illegally overthrow another country leader. So what he is literally saying to Jesse is "if you wouldn't like media saying something bad about your family, how is it that you can support wikileaks 'getting away' with telling the world about our war crimes? " And Jesse being a pretty straight up guy from the military and show business who is just used to calling a spade a spade is a little unfamiliar with that media tactic. The REAL response to that should be "what are you out of your mind???" And "are you seriously comparing hypothetical media comments about my family to releasing confidential information that show criminal actions at the highest level??" Sad that journalism in america, and britain is pretty much little america, is at the point where if the Pentagon Papers came out today NOBODY in media would be talking about politicians sending people into another partys headquarters, they would only be talking about how to get deep throat into jail.

This guy really knows how to bend thing to suit himself, Jesse, as well as a good propotion of the world, a point clearly missed by the interviewer, are getting sick and tired of being lied to, and treated with less respect than a rat. What was bought into the open by the release of this documents was a trail of outright lies, by people in high places. We have at present two people being hounded for telling the truth. For those who have ever served they will know that the rules are that you follow orders, that is unless you can clearly see that by doing so you are doing yourself and your country a dis service by doing something that is not correct. We have Snowdon who proves to the whole world that the U.S. is spying and intervering in our private lives, and doing so ILEGALLY let not forget that word what they are doing is againt everything that is honest, it is TOTALLY ILEGAL and as such needs exposing. What this guy is trying to say is that it is down to those involved in creating the problem to tell us, just how stupid can you get, the criminals actually telling us they are criminals THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AND HE KNOWS IT. It then falls to the people being instructed to perform these act, i.e. following orders, to do as they are supposed to do as human beings and say no i will not lie for you and i will not sit there and let you do it because that makes me part of your actions, instead, i will do what i am instructed to do and openly challenge that order to do something wrong. This is called whistle blowing, but should be called TELLING THE TRUTH regardless of personal safety, because the mentality of those involve clearly show they will do any and everything to stop the truth from becoming known AND THEY DO . The world is in a real mess and all because of a few peoples behavour and unwillingness to tell the truth, and it becomes worse each and every day. It is time for everyone that is effected by these lies to stand up, firstly support those who are prepared to tell the truth, and get rid of those who think lies are O.K. because they keep their position of power by doing so.
