First of all, Hitman 3 is awesome. It's the first time I played a game from modern Hitman trilogy (still haven't tried H2016 and H2) and I'm in love. It's the best parts of Blood Money and Absolution elevated to a near perfection. From BM it takes flexible assassination design that allows for a lot experimentation without being too punishing + sprawling interconnected levels + lots of hidden opportunities for accidental kills that you can discover by exploring. From Absolution it inherited the complexity of AI + high difficulty for speedruns. And personally, I think H3 is better than both of them. My highest recommendations! *STRATEGY NOTES:* I went for a very risky and RNG-dependent strategy here. A lot of conversations in Hitman 3 are randomized. The general content stays the same, but the phrasing and length of sentences can vary pretty drastically. Since conversations change on every restart, it can be difficult to plan and execute strategies that rely on precise timing when you have to wait for a target to finish talking with someone. 1) The 1st target (Marcus Stuyvesant) who is having a talk with 2 soldiers about the new bodyguard can be managed with a few distractions. I alerted the guard near the elevator with footsteps (0:35) to delay him in case the target decided to choose the longer version of the convo (he didn't). Since the target had chosen a shorter convo I had to delay him and his bodyguard by invading their personal space to stop them from moving (1:05), so that they would synchronize with the elevator guard. 2) The 2nd Target (Carl Ingram) who records monologues on his dictophone is much harder deal with. Depending on which monologue he chooses to go through it can be impossible to get to him in time using my route, even though the difference between monologues is only 5-10 seconds. Once he gets up from the chair it becomes much harder to pull him out of the room without his 2 guards following him. 3) 8 times out of 10 when you try to "dump" the body at 3:27 it falls down to the lower level and alerts the technician. 1/10 it remains on the middle platform without bouncing off and 1/10 it somehow falls down without making a noise (but can still be seen by the technician). I simply replayed the mission until I got the desired result that you see in the video. If you really want to use my strategy I recommend saving before dropping the body and reloading in case it gets spotted. Otherwise you'll have to do tons of missions restarts because of bad RNG. You can also try to manage the technician with coins or other distractions, but it's slower and can be hard to execute when you have 2 guards who still try to follow the target after you take him down.

Highly recommend you play the (legacy missions from) first two games too, they're amazing games. H2016 is excellent, and I've finally gotten around to H2 recently and it only improves upon the formula. The story is a little confused, but they're all part of the same narrative and it feels like one cohesive game if you play the whole thing in order. Also if you have all the mastery unlocks from previous levels, that adds way more flexibility. On that note, you should consider making "default loadout" an explicit restriction for these games. It would fit your playstyle well imo athough it might make some more inventive/cheesing strats unviable.

I definitely recommend going back to the previous seasons after this, if you have the time! All three games are awesome (S1 is still my favourite for now) and they surprisingly managed to nail the formula from the very first release (Paris mission). In terms of level design, content and replayability, these games are just unparalleled. Bonus points to the dark humour as well.

@@PlayRough089 @Gaurav Bagur I've gotten the whole trilogy with all DLC, so yeah, will play all of it eventually! Probably will have to take breaks and do something else after H3 though, because these games have insane amount of content. I have now spent two days on just the first mission and I'm still at only 70% completion.

I look forward to watching all of these new videos. Would love to see you do all the escalations the same way, too. although maybe some would not fit your style (diff kill methods required)

@@prenatual finally bought the game recently and I'm slowly getting through it so I can watch your SA/SO speedruns, I didn't want to spoil the story for me before. Like always your solutions for distracting and delaying guards are awesome. I don't know yet if I'm gonna do any videos, especially any SA/SO speedruns plus I'm still on the original PS4 with Share Play for recording gameplay. Replaying Hitman 1 and 2 from time to time before and now playing 3 I have to say what I enjoy the most now (as opposed to Absolution) are the slow runs without any running, stalking the targets, gathering intel and completing mission stories in the most efficient order.

Very nice run, man! I love your deus ex/dishonored runs! This mission was very challenging to so/sa/no ko outside of the intended by the devs way to sabotage the parachutes. I'm also trying to do a run of h3 this way and I've just uploaded my method on my channel (it's quite a long vid, but there's a lot of waiting around for targets, so you can skip these parts, I also have h1 and 2 vids, tho the quality is a bit trash due to bad youtube video encoding on small channels). It's less rng dependent than your way it seems, but still quite tricky and annoying to reset esp since it takes quite a while to complete.
@prenatual3 жыл бұрын
Saw your Dubai vid, well done! It's the complete opposite of how I approach my Hitman runs, but it's probably much closer to how an actual assassination would play out IRL.
