It’s not just 1 rough patch for onana, just because he strings some good performances together doesn’t mean he’s all of a sudden a world class consistent goalkeeper. He’s dodgy and will probably continue to be dodgy. The same can be said about 90% of this squad. Even players like Martinez have now been dragged down, mainoo has been dragged down, and mazraoui de ligt ugarte will be in due time. Problem IS that he's way down the list of immediate replacements required. I don't think either Onana or Bayinder have shown anything to support them being a true number one, first-name-on-the-sheet Goalkeeper at Man United. But neither have been truly awful enough over a prolonged period to require an immediate change. Onana is a coin flip of "Great" or "Shite" and Bayinder just hasn't had the sort of run in a team that a Keeper needs. If the rest of the team were fine, I'd be all for getting rid of both. But if Onana doesn't find a decent patch of form they might as well give Bayinder a chance to get a run of games under his belt before dismissing him.

We have had no left back for over a year, Ugarte is our most consistent player and we have no backup for him... Oh and our Captain is as useful as bag of spanners with no bolts and there's no obvious backup to him either. The team needs more than 1 player to fix this. Dalot is poor but it's easily forgotten he is doing a job for us on the left. He isn't a left back or a LWB. He'd be better as a RB/RWB or even in the pivot.

How many times have we seen opponents do the same as Bruno for 2nd card and we don’t even get a free kick, let alone a yellow leading to a red? Please tell me what Onana offers that De Gea did not. Onana is supposed to be a great passer, but he hoofs it downfield, as did De Gea. Onana commands the box about as well as De Gea...not much. De Gea gave up howlers, Onana's howlers are far worse. Those 55M euros could have been spent on another Mason Mount. Don't get me started on that signing.

Onana has made multiple mistakes that we battered de gea for (not saying we Should of kept de gea). He doesn’t dominate the box he sits on his line for corners and deep free kicks and his distribution which was hyped about so much when we got him has been pretty average tbh with u . People were banging the drum about his shots faced and save percentage at the start of the season and last season teams are having a lot of shots at him because they know he has a howler in him and lacks concentration he isn’t good enough simple as that way too many mistakes and doesn’t fill the defence with confidence we need a good shot stopper because we aren’t a very good team he isn’t one .

Dalot is a LWB who can’t use his left foot well. He needs to be dribbling to the byline instead of cutting the ball inside. He has miles of space on the outside for the run and consistently cuts it back inside to Bruno instead of going for the run. Need a real LWB in January for sure. Set piece fuckups are either needing a better GK for the coordination or another young CB to help Maguire.

The point, with which I most concur is about the manager. This is a moment for steel. There MUST BE, nevermind the gorgeous new system being tried - and errors notwithstanding, of course - be a true blood and effing guts determination to get something out of the next few games. Onana has a weakness on corners and in the air , and the opposing teams have twigged the weakness and Wolves knew this from a previous meeting . The defence were rubbish allowing the whole Wolves strike force between them and the goalkeeper , but the keeper was weak . We need a solid BACK 4 . Martinez might has a slight injury , he looks off the pace . Dalot really does not have a bona fide position . Ugarte seems fine but he often seems to be a lone warrior . Bruno is an embarrassment at times . I like Amad but is he creative enough , he likes to take his own score . Højlund works hard but gets little support . Garnacho was so weak and lost possession for the second goal , he is too cocky and is always on an ego trip . Got to hand it to Harry Maguire .....................he is still doing a job . The way the club is from top to bottom it will take at least a year to sort it out .......................we need Sheikh Jassim and tons of patience . bruno and onana lost the game yeaterday, they also lost the forest game. also united haven't been scoring goals for over 2 years now. basically a shit team poorly built and amorin probably wasn't the right manager for this team this year. they should have kept van nistelrooy and brought in amorim next summer. it is imperative that they bring someone into the team that can create goals or score them in the winter window.
