It's unlikely that it would see pray like this! Eagles usually perch and see their pray from there, then fly to it and ambush it from the air is their usual tactic!

Jeff Jollychen and at the highest speed any bird has ever gone horizontally. I have a list of the fastest animals in the world for their terrain cheetahs on land black marlin in the water but i always got annoyed because the peregrine was considered the fastest and i thought it was cheating cause it is diving to get any where near that i still loved the bird it’s small yet awesome and wicked fast but it doesn’t deserve the fastest animal title i thought if an animal will be judged on speed for a record it should like the other two cheetah and black marlin it should go horizontal at least and under it’s own power flapping them wings but then i looked around a bit more today and was settled even though technically by both rules the the white throated needle tail was the actual fastest bird i gave the golden eagle a pass and let it go on it’s horizontal gliding instead where it hits 120 instead of its powered flight because I didn’t really want to give the award to the swift i mean it does not look like a fast bird at all so i said i will let the golden eagle slide

I have immense love for them . Used to photograph their nests in the autumn and learned their meal schedules ….They knew I was a Scorpionic girl so they began gliding lower whenever I visited as a kind of silent understanding greeting .

In czech they are not a lot . But when we lived in Santa Barbara 2000 and 2002 the second year our House was on a hill . Next to garden Forest . And these were there all the time . And i feard them 😂 once i stood under a Tree close to House and one flew above me and looked at me :D and i ran to hide . 😂 and once i was on the trampoline and one landed on the fence and i ran to hide . 😂 once a couple was above our House . Once we filmed one on the fence eating and i was in the garden eating mcdonald 😂😊 once one flew above turned in air and flew . And once i did not run because my friend from czech who visited us with his family he s 6 years older and then was bigger was with me so i did not run . But one big black was flying above trees . For years i was scared but fun 😂 and my dad and mom always said dont worry they wont hurt you 😂😊 they did not 😊

No! The Golden Eagle could be found all over Great Britain in the recent past but they are only mostly found in the Highlands of Scotland now. They weren't reintroduced, their habitat have just retracted remarkably! Honestly, they need to be reintroduced to other parts of Great British, the last place they need to be reintroduced is the Highlands, they survived quite well there currently. The Highlands have been the golden eagles lifeline in the UK. Thanks for the question.
