Noel, FWIW, that 'sambar' and rice-balls meal probably came with a "flavour packet" (which would contain the real stuff, i.e., lentils and masalas, etc.) Or perhaps your tray was missing the flavour packet.) Anyway, it's a South Indian staple and really delicious. If all you got was was hot water and "dough balls" then yech, how absolutely horrible! When you're back in the UK, do seek out a "SOUTH Indian" restaurant. And ask for Idli with Sambar (usually served together.) Have a glass of cold beer handy, because it can be pretty hot! South Indian food is absolutely delicious and quite different from the run-of-the-mill North Indian food served in most of the rest of the world. By the way, some of the best S. Indian I had in the UK was in Edinburgh! Go figure! Yes, and my screen-name is not a coincidence-- though the food would be pronounced "saahm-burr"

Just when you thought a low cost airline is always bad, I guess that some like this one isn't too bad especially from thinking for the not-so-happy crew members, to seeing the warmest and nicest crew members in the end! Lesson of this video: Don't judge (at least some) low cost airlines by its cover just because it has bad reviews.

GO Air is actually a cool airline. I have always had a good experience with them while on the other hand there exist some airlines that make experience so bad you just want to reach the destination somehow safely.

Hey Noel! I'm crew that fly on that configuration of the A320 and everyone always thinks that toilet is for crew only but the sign on the door actually refers to the seat that's on the door itself! Passengers can still use it if the seat is stowed. Or maybe the crew designated a toilet for themselves haha. Love the videos, keep it up!

Seem loads better that SpiceJet and that flight attendant who took a photo with you was very cute. I have to admit that some of the Indian airports at major cities come across as quite clean and fairly modern. Hope more of India’s infrastructure (looking at the railways) follows accordingly. I work at the Mumbai airport and if you ever fly to Mumbai, it would be great to catch up with you. PS: Whenever flying out of Srinagar (I was there for two years), the commercial airlines always take the Runway 1-3 and for breathtaking sceneries I will recommend to always take the 'A' side window seats

Chandigarh is not in punjab, Chandigarh is a union territory. It’s a joint capital of punjab and Haryana. Coming back to the review, in flight services of Gofirst are the best among low cost carriers, even better than indigo.

Yes correct, though the terminal itself comes under Punjab (like literally the Chandigarh UT-Punjab border is on the taxiway, so the terminal is in Punjab whereas the runway is in Chandigarh)

From India, the low cost domestic airlines are getting more profitable now given Indians are more mobile nowadays. Airline flights are not a luxury anymore and cities are getting interconnected by airports which is a a good thing. Great to see that your were treated well.

Noel you might want to recheck how you are booking a flight. Last time you booked Bangalore to Delhi via Darbhanga and now Chandigarh to Delhi via Srinagar. If an extra stop is good for your it's fine. But the stops are really off the way. Generally you get very different stops between these cities if not a direct flight.

Noel has to review the airline, hence he has to choose the route they operate and sell. Yes one can get a direct flight to Delhi, but then it wont be of the airline he's reviewing, so it defeats the purpose. Only thing Noel should do is to put this as a disclaimer that the routing he chose was more because he intentionally chose it rather than an airline's limitation.

@noel brother, FYI: Chandigarh airport is shared between civil aviation and the Indian Air Force, so filming or photography is prohibited 🚫 at this airport. Sounds silly, since things are visible to anyone's eyes, but still that's the rule, and "ignorance is no excuse under law", so just sharing to keep you out of any undue complexities.

I love some of the airlines routing. I just booked a trip from SFO - HNL and it was a tie for the low fare with the following routing SFO - HNL -or- SFO - DEN - SFO - HNL Who wouldn’t want to go to Denver before flying back to SFO to then go to Honolulu. I guess if you are trying to accrue miles this would be the pick!

Go First (erst. Go Air) is indeed a much better airline than SG. You have actually missed Air India Express and Air Asia India. It would be great if you could review them next time (by then 9W and Akasa Air might also start operating, so them as well :P)!

Great vlog as always! Funny that the AH asked you if you was a vlogger. I have flown SAS/SK 320Neo and I had to use the loo. To get rid of paper towels I had to ask the AH where the trash was. In basicly all other planes, also french, it is under the sink. Not the standard buy of the shelf 320Neo it is right behind the seat cover when in the open possition. Lol! To me that is a sign of… Only the french. Btw if I were to be given to drive ONE car only, I would pick the Citroën DS. That car is a true masterpiece in design, new innovative solutions. For 1955 it must have been a space ship compared to the all the other cars at the time.

Hi Noel, Srinagar is in fact a air force (Defense) owned airport with civilian flights allowed, hence the heavy militarization. Also, such airports are a lot many in India and mostly photography and videography are not allowed. Lucky you that you managed some footage of airport.
