Is there something specific about the Newcastle course? Because the face expressions and movements are almost identical to that Ponga guy who rode with Moztert, whereas all other hot laps at other tracks people are just normal. Seems Newcastle is more brutal

Lol funny. I just read the commodore is going to be phased out of production. They better start thinking about getting the Camaro in v8 supercars or bring back the VF lol...

@@contactme4540 well that's perfect looks like the commodore will be phased out at the end of 2020.

Not quite true. The Buick Regal will be phased out in the US. The Opel Insignia is still being produced. Opel is now owned by Peugeot, not GM now, though.

What are the red blue and black levers?
@chris41813 жыл бұрын
can either be front and rear roll bar adjustments or brake bias it depends on the car and driver

What is the lever next to the gear shifter he is adjusting? I’m curious lol
@pez222fez4 жыл бұрын
i'm guessing brake bias , the other 2 levers are anti roll bar adjustments

Yeah I assumed brake bias but I'd love to know
@donkeydan1724 жыл бұрын
pez222fez to be fair that does seem reasonable, since commenting I’ve watched a few V8 videos and the commentator said a slight roll bar adjustment when he flicked one, I’m glad I know now lol!

What do the red black and blue handles do?, he moves the black one forwards a bunch in the beginning.
@lukeleedham99255 жыл бұрын
Miguel Sanchez the taller red and blue levers control the front and rear anti roll bars. The smaller black one is brake bias. He can mix the front to rear ratio on the fly for each corner as needed.
@benfairhall53312 жыл бұрын
@@lukeleedham9925 so he pulls the lever all the way to the back when he encounters the tighter sections of track so the bias is pushed more towards the rear so the steering is more effective?
@lukeleedham99252 жыл бұрын
@@benfairhall5331 I’m not going to pretend I know the science behind it. But yes I believe taking brakes away from the front helps with steering. But if they want to brake hard in a straight line ( say at the bottom of the hill at Bathurst ) they want more front brakes to avoid locking the rears.

Not brake pressure, it's the front anti-roll bar adjustment for stiffening up suspension. "Red is rear" - "blue is front" forward for stiff and rear for soft, and the black lever with the red button is brake bias forward for front and back for rear....
