That Sea Lion, looks like our Manatee's we have over here in Florida. They pass by our dock all day. We even feed them when out boating. Always take a few heads of lettuce out in the cooler.. they'll eat right out of your hand... Manatee's don't jump up on land that I've ever seen. Don't like cold water either, so if you see a manatee, you know your in warm water!!! July 4th,, think we're a bit behind in our editing... So heading north, but stayed inside, not sure how cool you'll get by that February edit..

Nice to see Emma with fellow cruising kids. *You know Linh's cooking is awesome* as usual by looking at everyone eating, no one talking.... Yummmmmmy. Great episode. You are close to San Marcos Island I have been there 4 times wen I was In the Merchant Marines It was 1967 I was Just 17 we loaded up with Gypsum for making Sheetrock and unloaded in Long Beach California. I made friends with a Father and his Son who would dive for lobster for us. I bought them some mask and fins and fresh fruit. we would throw it in the water and the kids would swim out to get it. It was a lot of fun for all of us. Watching you there brings back lots of good memories.

Hot enough weather, Linh's hot cooking, and a hot 4th of July celebration with friends in the anchorage. Key hot moments: Compass- Linh mentions Ribs.. Compass barks his approval. Party poppers- Compass is like what the heck are these humans doing now. Emma: Parks herself in front of the Mac & Cheese. Petroglyphs & Beached Sea elephant on the Water Education Classroom 101. Linh: It's too hot. I remember when it was to cold for ya. Creative cooking for 12- stretching the meal not seen on any TV cooking shows. Teal: I don't have to fix anything and.. I caught a Dorado too just say'n. Good to see you all enjoying life. Basik in calm waters, drifting along to another peaceful anchorage. Inspiring landlubbers- get off that couch. 4th of July- without "thickened epoxy liquid refreshment". Stay well out there my friends- until till next week.

@tealgoben17812 жыл бұрын
Not many cruising boats have A/C. The power consumption requires a generator running while in use. Not impossible, but not practical. We may complain a bit, but the experience is well worth it.

Why don’t you turn on the a/c?
@genewaddlerandomstuff21222 жыл бұрын
Because they don't have A/C.
@shanesanko14082 жыл бұрын
I'm surprised you haven't installed a/c in that boat
@tealgoben17812 жыл бұрын
Most cruising boats do not run A/C unless a generator is supporting it. Power management on basik concentrates the available amp hours to priority systems like refrigeration, fans, lighting, navigation, and communications equipment. We will be increasing our solar to accommodate more refrigeration but still not near enough to support A/C...maybe, one day.

@tealgoben17812 жыл бұрын
Most cruising boats do not have A/C that can run on their house banks. It requires a running generator because of the high amp draw. I have only seen a few that can run on their batteries for just a short amount of time during the peak solar times of the day.
