I love this episode, especially Jefferson and Emma's conversations. I love her vulnerability when she says she wishes it were true so Mary Margaret could be her mom, but I think it's partially a lie. I honestly think part of her lack of belief is because she has been searching for her parents her whole life and to find out there's all this insanity behind it would be really conflicting. Her not knowing who she is is kind of her identity, what she's built her life around. It's so much trauma to face, on top of the trauma she is going through reuniting with Henry.

Oh, absolutely! Even without the element of being reluctant to face that kind of trauma, there's also the fact humans are just creatures of habit. Any kind of change can be difficult to accept, even if it's something we want (or at least think we do, at the time). So we can go into full-on resistance and denial even under ideal circumstances, and what's going on here is certainly not ideal! I've finished recording season one but haven't started season two, so I don't yet know how the reunion between Emma and her parents is going to go. I imagine it's going to be complicated and overwhelming, and I'm going to cry a lot :D

I used to watch this show with my mom when it premiered way back when (I was way too young to be watching this show, being six 😬) but never really got back into it, until I heard that Bucky Barnes himself was in this show, and I was right back in baby!
@nebulousreactionsАй бұрын
Yeah, six is a bit too young to fully appreciate this kind of show. Someone else mentioned he's a part of the MCU and I'm actually planning to jump into that universe in the future (aside from Tobey Maguire's Spiderman series and the first Iron Man, I know very little about the universe) so it'll be fun to see him again in that!

I really want to see the next episode because it is centered on Regina and it is very interesting. ( I have try to write in English but it’s difficult 😅 so sorry for mistakes, I hope you understood)
@nebulousreactionsАй бұрын
Your English is good :) Regina's back story is totally heart-breaking, and explains a lot. Hope the episode is worth the wait for you ;)

The crazy thing is that Sebastian Stan (Jefferson) was doing this series at the same time he was doing the MCU.

Oooh, sounds like a busy time! I actually plan to check out the MCU in the near future for the channel, so maybe I'll end up seeing him again in some of those films :)

SEBASTIAN STAN/JEFFERSON!!! ❤️🍄🎩🍄❤️ This was the first time I took notice of Sebastian Stan. I had seen him in the MCU prior to watching OUAT, but his Marvel appearance didn’t leave much of an impression on me. Plus, I usually don’t go for the “pretty guys”… UNLESS, said “pretty guy” has some trauma & drama baggage, with a side of questionable gray morals as a result of being damaged by tragedy…AND the bonus of rocking tight leather pants & eyeliner… 🥵🪭🥵🪭🥵 Consider me totally hooked! I may have some “I can fix them” issues… 😆😆😆 I love how you kept mentioning his facial expressions and smile. He does have a natural look of melancholy and even a little darkness. This makes his big, bright smile all the more impactful, especially the way his eyes light up as well. He is an amazing facial expression and body language actor. Over the years since first noticing him on OUAT, he has become one of my favorite actors. It’s funny because, occasionally I find his line delivery a little wonky. Then he will take me on a journey through every possible human emotion in a matter of seconds, all without saying a single word of dialogue…I get lost in those sad eyes and remember why I enjoy his performances so much. I was curious to see if you would recognize him in the MCU when the time came, but realistically knew his appearance in the MCU would probably get mentioned once the reaction to this episode went live 😜😂 For future reference, do you consider casting knowledge spoilers?
@nebulousreactions28 күн бұрын
Hmm. I'm not sure what you mean by casting knowledge. Do you just mean letting me know a particular actor is in something? Because I think that would be fine, provided it's not like the return of an actor that would spoil the surprise return of a character or something. But yeah, this actor is a total cutie and I really like him. I haven't started season 2 yet, so I don't know if he returns, but I'd be surprised if he didn't. I do hope he gets reunited with his daughter and has a happy ending eventually. He's certainly suffered enough!

@ Yes, I meant just knowing if an actor is in something in general. Some reactors like to have as little knowledge as possible and be surprised by the cast. Obviously there are those roles that “everyone” knows just because of pop culture, RDJ being “Iron Man” etc… Looking forward to season 2!

PIXIE, PIXIE, PIXIE. She is more and more cute in each video. It's surprising she doesn't like to be held because she seems like a cuddler. Your superpower is still activated, predicting exactly what's going to happen before it happens. SPOILERS: I love this episode for one major reason, the dynamic between Emma and Snow. She Emma said: "I cannot lose my family;" that gets me every time. Even though Emma doesn't believe in fairy tales, she can feel the truth. She got along with Snow immediately. Even Snow told Emma, "I trust you" after meeting her for just a few days. This show~ With that said, Jefferson's fate is tragic because of all I can think about his daughter Grace. Her father never came home, she doesn't know if he is dead or alive. She probably worried everyday after her father's disappearance. The Storybrooke version of Grace, she's happy because she forgot all the pain from The Enchanted Forest. What Regina did to Jefferson and Grace is the worst act so far. You know, I would also hate Regina if I watched a few episodes at a time. I binged watched, so I was able to get a good grasp of the characters in a short time span. So as a writer, do you believe in magic? Well to be specific, do you believe what we consider "fantasy" actually is true: it is or was reality? (Hmmm, I'm having a hard time phrasing my question.) Please Note: And sorry for the misunderstanding when you were asking about your patreon. I'm business minded, so I did not see my 2-cents as a divide economically. I just thought of ways to gain revenue, just to pay yourself back for content/services, when you expand. However if you don't care about this, then great.

Pixie is a rescue we found on the side of the road, and though I don't know the specifics of her first year or so, she was definitely mistreated. So she's afraid of pretty much everything and is only comfortable with affection and attention when we're laying down. Then she'll snuggle with me for hours. But otherwise, she feels too insecure to enjoy attention. Human beings as a whole don't deserve dogs. They're too good for us. As for magic; I don't know about belief, but I like the possibility of infinite worlds, where forces that we would call magic do exist. It's entirely possible. I mean, the smartest minds on the planet seem to agree that it's very possible that the reality we live in is not 100% concrete and the only one. And if Simulation Theory is correct, we essentially live in the Matrix anyway. So if we're in a simulation, other simulations would likely exist. Some may have what we call magic. So, I'm certainly open to the possibility of other places existing and having magic. I think it's the height of arrogance to assume this is the only reality, and that other realities wouldn't have rules and forces that we don't understand and can't comprehend.
