It must be admitted...Zelena probably _is_ better at cruelty than Regina. Not so much in the mass murder sense, but in the 'up close and personal' sense. Regina favors the direct approach, torn out hearts and burns and physical pain, Zelena gets that subtle things can hurt worse.

Exactly. Regina went from wanting Snow White dead out of revenge to being hesitant in ripping her heart out and tearing it in half out of concern that it would kill her. She didn't want Snow to die anymore.

The only reason why Regina’s blood worked instead of the traditional sacrifice for the dark curse is because gothel is an incredibly powerful witch and so were the people in the coven of the eight. They are able to bend certain laws of magic because they combine all their knowledge and power They were able to time travel and change the past by creating Hyperion heights But I get what you meant

I bet Regina just a little bit impressed by Zelena’s words. It’s funny because in season one they actually planned for Charming to die in episode one. And Snow would find out when the curse will be broken. So Zelena just stated that storyline.

Sadly that wouldn't have worked cause when they appeared in Storybrooke the clothes were modern again so anything in their pockets would've been gone too
