Nice review! I have the 10" Ryobi battery model. Love this saw. I used it all day today on 2 four amp batts. No power problems. I like not having to deal with a cord also.

The knob that screws down and goes into that hole is a depth stop to do partial cuts/grooves. Slide the piece with the hole in it over so that screw hits it 💪

Interesting n informative video. Have been eyeing that 7-1/4" mitre saw for a long time. Ur review gave me valuable info to decide if I'm purchasing one too. Most of my tools are Ryobi n enjoyed using it for DIY projects. New subscriber because of this vid. Kudos for vid. Looking forward to ur next one. Aloha from Hawaii.

I am planning on buying this saw soon. I have the original blue saw for many years. It’s got the small blade and will barely go through a 2 by 4. I have a project coming up that I need one. And if you buy it now through the buy more, save more deal, the price comes down some. And I have to say, love the clip fan!!!!!

Correct you can get it for $180

As long it will cut what I want this is a good saw. I don’t have a lot of space but I want to have uniform cuts and using a hand saw isn’t giving me that. I bought this saw after this video and I’m glad you made this review. Hey on your next review show us some of your preferred RIP SAWS for cutting PLYWOOD.

I can do that

Seems like a handy saw. I think that adjustment knob is for a depth stop. So you could do dados.

I have a couple of compound miter saws in 10" and 12", plus a slider. I'd like something small for light trim work and not have to deal with a cord. I think the 18v compound saw would do the trick, but I like the idea of a little more capacity. I'd probably upgrade the blade right out of the box.

@@RYOBIKING Been debating on purchasing this saw and it's ideal for my usage and compact size is very appealing. On the fence about purchasing this or a decent corded version. Thank you for the video and reply!

If you think you will need a bigger saw just but the bigger one if not definitely go cordless 👍

You can't have an all metal saw and it still weigh 25 pounds. The loose screw and plastic knob that you didn't like but didn't know what it was is a blade depth setting screw. Some useful info would have been to see how square the saw would cut right out of the box.
@RYOBIKING Жыл бұрын
I know it can’t be all metal. but there are different grades of plastic and they have used a more low end plastic on this tool
