That's not a "guy" (as in rooster). That's a very frightened hen who looks like she's at least part Americauna. Usually (besides being flighty) they are very good natured and friendly birds. Breaks my heart to hear her scream. She clearly is scared they are going to kill her. I wonder where this bird came from - if she escaped and wandered off or if someone decided to release her. Poor baby wouldn't last long out there on her own.

There ones sound that they make that I do not like. My dad roosters and hens do it when they are left alone for a while and see someone (mostly me) walk into their house. They turn they heads directly at me and do this weird growling noise all in unison to let each other know that there is something/someone new in their area.
