I guess it's on the front page of reddit, Break.com and The Lad Bible, me and the chickens, but just to clarify- 1.These Roosters are still very much alive. 2. Their names are Big Bo and Cuckoo and they are 3 years old. They are the result of eggs I bought on ebay after too much wine one lonely night. 3. No I would not ever hit, kick, punch or react violently to them or ANY animal for that matter. I love animals and have animals because they are easier for me to tolerate than actual people. 4. I took the video to demonstrate to my roommates what I go through every day because they believed I was perhaps embellishing (Which I NEVER do.) 5. Yes, I do understand they may have attacked me because my hair resembled a prostitute Hen. 6. Yes, I understand they were justified in attacking me because I was wearing Yoga Pants. 7. No. There are no hairstylists in my town. 8. It is not true that the Roosters later ate me with Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce. 9. I have now heard every "2 black c*cks" joke manageable. I appreciate them all. 10. No, I have no plans to get a boob job and change my last name to "Clampet"

I don't hate animals. But I won't be an animals bitch either. I've had a rooster run at me before. I ran at the rooster. He jumped out of the way. It was a good thing, because I would have kicked it. I wouldn't have injured it on purpose, but I'm not getting a nasty wound by something less than 1/20th my weight. Its just the natural order.

First off Never turn your back to them, you'll notice that when you do that's when they attack. They're cowardly that way. Used to going through the same thing with turkeys. Notice that they attack in coordination as well. If you're facing them at ALL times this won't happen.

Into the slow cooker with both of them! When I was a lad, our neighbour was set upon by an aggressive rooster we had at the time. Another confrontation was set up, but this time the guy flapped a towel at the bird. One terrified rooster, end of problem. Well almost, the rooster became chicken stew.

there is a trick that has worked for me that will cause them to even consider doing that and it is harmless to them...physically. But it does hurt their pride. Roosters are mostly proud of their comb. Let one out and quickly grab and hold on to it's comb and pull their beaks down until it touches the ground and hold the rooster in this position until it stops fighting to get loose. Then release it. This sends a clear message to them who the boss is and I have found this to work every single time on my Leghorn roosters. They went from attacking bad asses to scared shitless with one try and lasted the rest of their lives.

Chickens have a pecking order and will use violence to prove themselves. Even to humans, they will try to attack to show that they are better. My chickens do it sometimes and honestly just came outta no where. Best thing I learned to prevent it is to not turn tail and walk away. They’ll think they’ve won and will continue to torment you. I’ve seen people discipline the violent boys by picking them up and keeping them under their armpit for a couple minutes.

I have a sure fire cure that will not hurt them but will protect you and get them to back off. The next time you go out there take an umbrella with you. When they come towards you just quickly open it up in their face. It keeps them away from you and they don't like it so they will back off. Do that a few times and they will get the hint and stop.

I was once atacked by a rooster. I had shorts on and he jumped on me and stuck his claws in my leg. A few seconds later i realized I was seriously bleeding and it took a few hours until it stopped. I didn't get an infection or anything like that, but now i know i must take care near an agressive rooster if I don't want an injury/ to mess my trousers.

You have to pick up your rooster and show them who's the boss ! Because they will not stop until one of you surrenders. Since you aren't going to be the one surrenderring, you have to make your roosters do it instead. You have to make them think they would lost in a death battle with you. So catch them and humiliate them a little (without hurting them of course). If you want a good technique to catch them easily I can share, my dad is a professional rooster catcher (lol no but he's very skilled)
