… purchased the club and mace, shipped to Australia… was expensive, but worked out approximately the same as a set of club bought locally… but saved space/storage. Also now having the mace and the weights being interchangeable is a plus!

I use the spacers to enhance my micro loading. I can slip in a spacer at various positions before adding weight to gradually move the center of mass closer to the end thus minutely increasing the apparent weight.

I'd love to get an Adex club & mace, but with shipping and import fees you're looking at 500-600 bucks at least... That's a little steep. Any chance Adex will find an EU importer, or someone to produce them under license in Europe?

@@plastikmaiden I've seen the Reotel adjustable club on Amazon, it's still 450 euros and looks to be a straight copy of Adex. Hopefully I'll have to visit the US for work this year, the club should just about fit in my suitcase :-)

How many 10 pound barbell plates can you get on there

I used a simple hacksaw to cut a 23" section from the end of a 6 foot Spinlock barbell. I cleaned up the cut with a hand file. The threaded, loadable section is 12", there's an integral 7/16" collar, and a good knurl on the 10&9/16" handle. It weighs 4.4 pounds. It takes "Standard Plates," which in th US designates a 1" bar & slightly larger hole. Using 2 collars on each side of the plates locks the position well. It's been satisfying to make and use this. My work partner has an Adex, and it's indeed excellent, I'll get one in future. As weight goes up I'm looking forward to a thicker handle and a knob.

I really like my Adex (wildman handle) club. but 1. it's stupid expensive 2. the weights don't weigh what the (adex) documentation says they should weigh. Either fix the weights or fix the documentation.

How far off would you say the weights are? I’ve noticed the same thing. 1-2 lbs difference no?

it's not an exact poundage, which makes it all worse. so i round up or down. the small one is right on at 1.25. the next size up i count as 2.25, but it's really like 2lbs 3oz and the big ones are like 4.5lbs. (but not exactly like 4lbs 6oz). @@skelatonman

I don't see any point in getting the adex club unless you want to save on storage. Too expensive for something that only goes to 25lbs. The add-ons is always backorder and almost as expensive as the club itself. For the price of both you have more than enough to buy all the clubs you need from local store.

Mount some pvc pipes in an angle to store the weights and the spacers. You slide them from the top of the pipe and pick them up from a "window" carved at the bottom.

I really like the adex clubs but I can't really understand for the life of me why the handle alone costs over 160 dollars. If the major advantage of the club is being adjustable then why am I paying triple the cost of a standard club for the handle by itself and then also paying a bunch of money on top of that for the weight kit? I like the product but the cost of the handles seem out of line with the market, surely having a spindle in the middle isn't worth being triple the cost of a normal club for just the handles.

Gravity Fitness is properly the best option. I've got a 10KG, and I'm now waiting for them to deliver a 12KG to mine. I've been training with the 10KG since last April. I find it to be well made. I personally prefer wearing gloves, due to my hands getting really sweaty.
