It's an honor to have my first Yosemite hang gliding flight featured in such a great film. Glacier Point had been on my wish list for almost 20 years, and this was the perfect project to incite me!

Two thumbs up for including the hang gliding footage. Glacier Point has been flown since the 1970s and is a spectacular ride!! Decades ago a pilot and 2 passengers launched from Half Dome, the passengers parachuted from the glider!!! All ended well except for them being arrested for the illegal stunt!!

I've traveled to at least 30 different countries. Lived in a couple of them. Still, my favorite place on earth is Yosemite Valley. Been there at least 20 times, during all seasons, and always borders on a spiritual experience. The US National Park system was one of the best ideas we ever had.

The best video of Yosemite I've seen. I was there camping in July 2012 in Tuolumne Meadows camp ground. I stayed for a week. No where close enough time to see all the park. as a photographer I was in heaven! I am going back in May when all the falls are in full run off. I will be motor cycle camping this time.

A cinematic masterpiece of Yosemite National Forrest! I visited Yosemite last year with my girlfriend and camped in Tuolumne Meadows Campground. As a professional photographer and armature film maker, this film is the best I've seen of Yosemite, It inspires me to go back.

As a 50 yr old Tennessee photographer with a "bucket list" of doing Half Dome I found this "day in the life of Yosemite" to be inspiring and informational. Kudos to the talented 30 videographers and support staff/editors for a job well done. Your passion and love of Mother Earth shown through beautifully. Ansel would be most proud :)

This was a fabulous video. The amazing mountains and valleys and people so passionately to visit. It seems instinct within our soul that we are driven to visit and have an adventure for ourselves. What is so discovery, is that we find out the Creation we see, is bigger than we thought; and so true it is. I read in Psalm 19 that what we see in Yosemite is the work of His Fingers.

Dear Yosemite NP team! I've been binge watching your videos. I had no idea that you have your own KZbin channel. These videos leave me with a mixed bag of feelings: at first goosebumps while watching. next, on the one hand gratefulness to have been able to experience this place about 7,5 years ago. On the other hand some sadness that I won't be able to return anytime soon (my guess is in 4 years at the earliest when I hopefully can pay for the travel over from Europe for my whole family). Then there is the joy if the fond memories I have from my visit and the pleasant anticipation that I hopefully can and will return. Thank your for your work and sharing the experience online!

@discorperted Yosemite IS in California. You gotta give Cali credit for having such awesome places. The largest trees, the tallest, and the oldest trees are all located here (in CA, not Yosemite specifically). Also, the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states, the ocean, geographic diversity, we have it all! Your state?
@NaniTreas14 жыл бұрын
@discorperted So how come you don't live there anymore/like CA when you know firsthand how good the weather is? That's the main reason my family still lives in CA because other states are boring, esp in the East/Midwest. How is it a private park when it's so crowded sometimes?

This production refers to the Ahwahnee Hotel and must predate the trademark dispute between the Park Service and Delaware North over names in the park. The hotel is now the Majestic, and most other commercial operations in the park have been forced to change their names.
