Omg that's just a perfect analogy! People say it's "just" a boyband and I wanna slap them because they worked so hard for it, they got a bit stressed and it's something you live with so they devoted themselves into it and people say it's not worth anything it's so unfair. I love that you mentioned it. These boys succeeded solely because they were working hard. The Simon's team was so lucky with them. They could turn out to be as talented bu totale douches and divas and it wouldn't work out. They could be hardworking but boring like a sock and that wouldn't work out. All three components (hard work, talent, charisma) made them who they all are now. I love their X factor videos, it's so endearing but also I'm even more in awe of them seeing how far they've all come from that.

I love your review. They worked incredibly hard and they were just young boys, Harry being the youngest at only 16. They went on tour and recorded albums in hotel rooms and buses with no breaks. They had to have been a rare group of kids to have had that work ethic and dedication without their parents being there to give them continuous supervision, support and to comfort them when homesick. I don’t think any of them had ever been away from home for any significant amount of time. They truly had to support each other as they went through all of these new experiences together for the first time. They were a very special group of boys. As soloists, Harry just stands out to me as a very talented artist and a unique and beautiful person. He is really a competitive person with so much that he wants to accomplish and such drive but yet is so kind and such a gentleman and so humble.

These guys all have the xfactor and they are all hard working. People can argue the toss about charisma, looks, personality etc etc.. but all five guys have this, that’s why they were so successful. Also their vocals just have so much synergy together in harmonies.

I loved Harry as the lead singer back then because I thought he was amazing when he hit notes of different levels from the very beginning. His voice played on my heart strings along with the other boys harmonIzing around him sounded amaizing. I was so into Harry Styles from the beginning because of 4 songs in peticular. Really like your point about how Harry has found his style (lol) and you can tell that he hasn’t done that yet here. Reminds me of a conversation I had with a man (he said he was a music producer, I dont know) who claimed that all artists sing in American English. I disagreed and menitoned Adele, Ed Sheeran, and 1D, and said they dont sing in american, yet he stood his ground. It was so annoying 😂
