I was thinking the same lately, but that would probably require too much extra editing effort put into each video/game, so I don’t think he’ll add anything that is not stationary to his videos until he hires an editor for the channel.

Few reasons it wont ever happen. He edits his own videos and sometimes puts out multiple videos in 1 day. If he added times for each move, it couldn't keep up with him talking. Like in this video he tears off 6 moves without taking a breathe. Wouldn't make any sense what's going on with a bunch of numbers just flashing that fast. He tells us the times of moves when it's important to the story.

At the end, if white played the rook f8, it would not be draw. To defend from checks, it's always possible to play bishop e1, sacrificing it. This way the black queen could not reach the f4, but only e5. As such it would be possible to play pawn g3, with no other real way of attack (pawn f2 is out of queen reach).

Too bad this is not measured. One of my first "Chess Life" mags was of Hikaru on the front cover...2007 and turned to page 24. Back then I'd been playing chess without knowing from 1971...geez I missed so much stuff. Educating the young will help chess. I actually do not know how I picked it up in the 60s, I only remember playing my 7th grade in 1972-3 years against people who barely knew how to play or move the pieces. Even now it is hard to find anyone who knows how the pieces move.
