One fact about every country in South America

In this episode of #FactSpark, we are going through every country of #SouthAmerica and explore one interesting fact about special features of its topography, economy or demography. The South American continent was deeply shaped by the European colonization in the second half of last millennia and many of these impacts can be seen in these country facts and stories.
The 12 South American #Countries, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Surinam, Uruguay and Venezuela, now all have their unique national identity and fascinating geography, which we are exploring in this video.

Guyana never was colonized by spain, Columbus never inter Guyana he enter Venezuela instead

Another few random facts about brazil -the largest diaspora of japanese people outside of japan, mostly focused in Sao Paulo and some places in the North -the coutry with the most african descent people outside of Africa - likely more lebanese descent people live in brazil than there are lebanese people in Lebanon - the inventor of the Airplane was born in brazil, Santos Dummont -Manaus is the city with around 2mi inhabitants in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, you can't drive from it to anywhere south of the amazon river for there are no bridges there, only ferries. -the city of São Paulo has more inhabitants than Portugal -Ponta dos Seixas, in Paraiba Brazil, is the easternmost point in the Americas, and it’s closer to africa than Brazil's westernmost point -yes Brazil does get snow, but only in the southern region mostly in smaller towns in higher altitudes. Curitiba is a large capital that gets light snowfall from time to time. Greetings from Brazil, with love, to all of south america and beyond 💚
