I LOVE this pattern and, as always, you make it look so EASY! I think I liked the red border best because the green binding with the lines gave it a rope-like appearance. Very pretty! I'm always using graph paper to figure out whatever quilt I'm working on, because I have a really hard time making a pattern as it's written. It would be great to have this clipboard to keep all my graph papers for a project all in one piece! Great table runner too. Love the idea of making a quilt out of the pattern. I'd prefer brighter colours but I do like your colour palette though. I think I would make mine in Blue for the squares inn the centre, greens on the outside & sand colour border & send it to our friends in Egypt to represent the Nile river, the banks of the river green with crops & the border for the desert.
