If I had the time and the molds (so I could shoot more than 1 at a time) I would go completely NUTS on rip raps, those things work on near everything.... they need to make a 1.5 for crappie and I would be so golden.

Awesome, just curious if I missed it but about how long does it take for 1 gallon of the plastic to be ready in the pot? I'm wondering if nuking it and adding it to the pot would be quicker? Just based on nuking 2 cups at a time I think that would be around 25 -30 minutes or so by microwave to get 16 cups.

I have a small question about how and where you get custom molds. I have to replace all my plastic lures after a house fire. But since Manns no longer makes it ( Mosquito Hawk original version ) , I would like to get a mold made. Since all I can find is the newer styled ones and not going to pay 40.00 for a pack of 10 to 15 year-old baits. The last time I bought some (20 years ago), they were kept in a climate control location but lost everything ( 20 two gallon bags) of them.

I've started buying all the materials to get started on making my own baits since I do a lot of kayak bass tournaments. I live in Keystone and visit Tallahassee quite often. Im trying to get into making my own baits, gonna order uour starter kit next week hopefully... it will give me something to focus on when im not in my "Bass Hunter" little boat fishing...
