Having fished multiple s in different sizes and colors, kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 this is by far my favorite. One thing to be aware of is the sided willow blade. One side is silver and the other is the green/orange shown. This is not bad, just unconventional. In terms of fishing, I have found the lure works just fine without a tail like a craw or shad. That addition is up to you. Also, the hook part where you attach the swivel snap or tie the line is a problem on baits these days, since it's able to slide up and down. However this lure seems to be tight enough that that doesn't happen often, and you can solve it by putting a thin slice of medical tube over the hook before attaching the line. Like others have said, it's really magic on a good windy day.

My son and I are just starting out making baits. I took your advice and went with lure staples like the senko and 7" ribbon tail. Once I finish off the first gallon I'll scoop up craw, frog, and grub molds to expand the selection. Stuck with three basic colors black, watermelon, and grape. Thanks for the attention to detail, once we start (soon i hope....shipping sucks) Im sure all your advice will put us ahead of the curve. Thank you for all your hard work and time man, you are truly appreciated.

Awesome color on soft plastics. Ive got a question for you . I don't know if you remember the color of the solid Black with silver dust that renegade came out with in the 90's well they don't make that color nomore and I was wondering if u can make that color for me it was a curly tail worm . IT won me alot of tournaments bk in the day's my mom picked that worm and color for me when I used to take her shopping every paid day and she found this color by renegade lures and this was on a Friday and I went fishing to a lake I've never fished before I've always wanted to and I went there when i had my 2 BASS BOAT and I used that color and caught my biggest BASS ever for that year on that worm. GOD REST MY parent's SOUL.would love to have that color again what worms i had in that color was about 100 but long b hold they got stolen. And thanks I would deeply appreciate it.

So for those wondering if it's worth it, it is. Take away the cost of the molds for a minute as that is a start-up cost. A pack of 5 6" Senko worms at Cabelas right now is $6. That breaks down to $1.20/worm. I sometimes pay less than that per bullet for my gun and these are plastic worms. For a jug of Plastisol on Amazon, I saw it costed $47. He got 400 worms for $47. That breaks down to $0.11/worm. If you're a hardcore fisherman, it's worth it.

You have inspired me to making my own plastics, and I have a question. How buoyant is the Dead on Plastics floating feather? A couple plastics I have in mind I want to have a buoyancy similar to zman baits. Your channel is such a good informative channel for bait making.
@WorldsWorstFishing4 жыл бұрын
It is more buoyant than normal plastic that floats.. however z-man is actually a rubber elastomer, which I think has more float to it than any Plastisol.

Cant get enough of the content! Thanks for sharing the knowledge and passion with us! Have you considered doing a sort of troubleshooting soft plastic video? Where you might show finished lures with issues and address problems that might be causing them? Obviously, you touch on these things throughout your channel but it might be a great video to put in one spot. Lots of issues someone could be experience and not know where to start to narrow down the issue. Thanks so much!
