Fun fact: it has one of the lowest (best) drag coefficients of any car ever made... Also, I'm pretty sure that George Barris took a bunch of inspiration from the BAT 9 when he designed and built the 1966 Batmobile. Also, the fact that the 1959 Pontiac Futura concept car (which the 1966 Batmobile is based on) already had a bunch of 'bat-like' features, probably helped as well.

The Laferrari is an excellent choice for this, but I can't help but also point out the Orphaned F40. There was a very late revision of the classic F40 cast that only appears in the final 5-Pack before the license terminated. I'm sure you already know most of that story, Lamley, but I can't help but bring it up. Also wanted to mention again the 100% Hot Wheels version of the Superbird, which only saw a few color variations in the series and one Box-set release. A very forgotten cast. Love the series, glad to see so many that I own. PS, thanks for shedding light on the beautiful B.A.T. 9 cast and its retro-futuristic Buck Rogers vibe!!

Don't forget the Peugeot 206 from the 2005 Hot wheels Basics WRC series. The '01 Ford Focus WRC was used more than once; but it wasn't very accessible. I'd like to see it come back. Re: Bronco's - In the 70's Hot Wheels had something called the Baja Bruiser. I think this was loosely based on the Parnelli Jones Baja Bronco Racer. They should bring that back.

The NSX is from the Race Day set. I have the whole set, Card Art on that set is awesome too, all the cars lined up in order on the track, kind of in the same style as Deutschland Design 2.

That Bugatti Veyron is just a retool of the 2003 new edition model. Its almost exactly the same with only minor differences much like a ton of castings over the years

I NEED PART 3 NOW! Great video once again and it still baffles me how the advan nsx is so under the radar for a lot of people today especially since collecting JDM cars has been the most popular thing in the past few years now. Like you said it's not like any of the nsx variations that hot wheels have done the wider body kit and much more aggressive looking splitters(?) along with the big wide rear wheels. Tbh it's good that it's not as known because I can still find it for affordable prices hahaha. My advice for anyone is to go and try to get yourself one of this before it gets overhyped and overpriced.

I’m not sure it will get much love but one of my favorite one and done castings is the Four-1 from the 2009 New Models. Originally done in white with only one recolor the same year in black. I would love to see this one come back. I am loving this series. Can’t wait for part 3.

If you're doing a part 3, I think the Top Gun Kawasaki Ninja should be included although it's a motorcycle. I don't know if you're putting spaceships as well, but both Battlestar Galactica ships from entertainment series a couple years back also can be included. The same I can say with Ducati Diavel, they only released 3 colors so far with the 2016 release only show up in the factory sealed I guess. Also the couple angry birds car lol (kidding)

Hot Wheels could do the half cab, full cab Bronco's and if they wanted to do a racer they could do "Big Oly" Parnelli Jones Baja 1000 racer. Hot wheels could also do Rod Hall's 67 Baja Bronco racer. Those 2 Bronco's would be awesome in premium!

Was just in my bedroom looking at that Race Day set I mentioned earlier, and I found a couple more for part 3(I think) Walmart did one of their exclusive basic releases like 3-4 years ago that was rally car themed, and I thought that Countryman was in that set, but it's not, there's a Mini Cooper S Challenge that I haven't seen in any other set as well as a Vee Dub Scirocco GT Challenge 24 casting that I haven't seen anywhere else

12:26 so this one, it's a "chase" but it's not. In this color it was only in that Classics S5 30 car boxset, so all in this color had RRs. There were two colors for single release, red and a dark teal, that could be found both normal with lace/wire wheels and the chases with the wheels this one in the video has.

I heard that the license to the Mini WRC is actually owned by both BMW and Prodrive, the company that turned the Countryman into rally machines (also the same company that campaigned Subaru's successful WRC efforts). Prodrive seems to have refused to allow licensing the Mini to any scale models companies. Even Majorette has stopped producing their Countryman WRC casting.

One classic Hot Wheels that was sort of a one-and-done (technically released in the mainlines multiple times between 1980 and 1983 but only ever in the same livery) was the Greyhound MCI MC-8 Americruiser. I'm sure the tools used to make it don't exist in usable condition four decades later and it will certainly never get another mainline release because it's a hefty brick of metal (three separate metal pieces: top, interior/lower body, and chassis) but I'd love to see a remake of it as a premium, preferably in Greyhound livery but an alternate bus line or generic bus livery would be fine if the Greyhound license is unavailable.

We all got screwed on that black RLC Rauh-Welt Porsche. They didn't make nearly enough of them, and they were sold-out before the sale started. Stories floating around out there about professional re-sellers with 80 accounts only getting 4 or 5 of them. Mattel needs to do another run of these, and make them MADE TO ORDER. No collectors in my city were able to get one. We all wanted it, nobody got it.

I remember when I got the Roadkill Rostun thinking about what it would be like it we got different recolored versions of that car. Same goes for the General Mayhem. We've gotten recolors of Gas Monkey Garage cars like the Corvette and the Hi-Po Hauler, so it might not be out of the question?

Well, I guess I have eclectic taste or no taste🤪. But BAT and the Nissan concept car, would be something I would like to have. I personally like HW taking on and releasing real automobile prototypes and concept cars that stayed "paper projects." Pontiac Banshee is a great example. I just discovered that Audi E-Tron HW and it was a nice surprise. Sitting on the floor passenger side of my company car I have the 1/10 scale E-Tron that was Audi's design for the Forenza computer sim. Picked it up on the way to work today. It looks nothing like the HW E-Tron but both are pretty striking.
