I tried other kinds of yoga, but as soon as I discovered Iyengar yoga, I have never been able to practice another! I look forward to practicing your other sequences. thank you. Namaste 🙏

@@anissacarmien5818 Thanks Anissa. We are biassed of course because we are immersed in Iyengar yoga. But we do think that no other yoga gives the precision in the physical asanas which leads to the focus and concentration of the mind. This opens up the possibility of achieving a state of meditation, even while in a tough pose. Keep up the good work! Namaste. Lin and Leo 🙏

Thanks so much for the video! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I want to practice iyengar yoga regularly. How many times a week would you recommend? Also, would doing just this one hour sequence suffice every time or do you have a program that lays out what exercises to do in each time of doing yoga? Thanks!

Hello Arusa. Thanks for the question. The frequency per week is dependent on what you can commit to; if you know you that realistically, you will only have space for a practice once a week then decide on that. Part of the yoga is the development of self-discipline and setting aside a time for your practice is important. We would suggest between one and four times a week to start with, but only do 20 minutes or so. If you are completely new to Iyengar Yoga we would suggest starting with our Introductory Course: kzbin.info/aero/PLLTwDvdKnrC6sWDlaeynjjhR89GFrwer_ These sequences are 15-20 minutes and suitable for complete beginners. You can repeat this course several times for most benefit. Then maybe move onto one of our "Days of Yoga" series. At the moment we have 30 Days of Yoga, 13 Days of Yoga, 19 Days of Yoga and 18 Days of yoga on our playlists.
