This really confirmed thoughts and suspicions I've had about all these so called rules that people say you have to follow. As if you follow someone because they publish pictures at exactly 15.00 every Saturday... Me, I follow them because they publish good pictures, not what time they publish at. And if they do that often or not is irrelevant. I'm glad you put out this video, it really takes a look at what actually is happening, not just repeating something that someone said sometime, and it sounded good, but they didn't understand what it meant. Taking one step back and seeing the "real truth" of it all and understanding what the actual mechanics are, is necessary. So thanks again!

So true about being consistent. I'm not one that post a lot one my Instagram, like once or twice a month or every Two months and my audience love and know that's what I do. So true. i constantly see posts without captions at all and I get bored. These are just photos after all....everyone can make nice photos nowadays. I only comment on posts if the caption captured my attention and I feel truly connected. For example, I like travel related content and I even save posts which contain some useful tips about a specific place.

Nice video….I think that captions are not necessary if you’re a photographer…I mean you don’t really have to caption every photo you post…for example if you post nature-landscape photos and you’re posting 3-4 mountains in a row, what can you possibly write in your caption that you haven’t written before ?

The "compounding" analogy is perfect. It also ties in with your point of serving the Followers you already have. The rest will follow. My only hesitancy is that the framing seems really tight. It's a predatory market where people are after inspiration to make derivative work, while also trying too hard to cover their tracks on where they got the source material. Check any restaurant or chef page. It's only non-chefs that engage in any way. It's why they have tragic stats. 50k followers, 137 likes..saved to gallery 3100 times.
