My dad has a 2020 model 3 SR+, infact, he picked it up the day before this video was released. It’s an amazing car and works great 2 years later, it’s an absolute thrill to drive especially for a 17 year old teenager like me.

I have a fully modded 2019 SR+. Its running the Boost SR module putting down 330hp, KW V1 coilovers, front BBK, UP sway bars, MPP "Party Box", XP8 Pads, SS Lines, SRF brake fluid, main cylinder brace, and some other small things. Everyone who has driven it on track talks about the amazing balance. The mods changed the dynamic from understeer at the limit to controllable oversteer. Boost SR uncorks the power delivery. I'm in Colorado. Would love to get your opinion on it.

IK the Ingenext module has a drift mode that turns off TC in the rear. Is the MPP party box worth it over just using the drift mode in the Boost module?
@JT-xq2hvАй бұрын
@@jackwicker Yes, if you track the car the MPP is much better and acts like an E-diff.
@jackwickerАй бұрын
@@JT-xq2hv i wonder why Ingenext limited the adjustable TC track mode option to their ghost module. It would seem like it would have been an option on the various boost modules as well.

Kyle, this is the Tesla review I come back to and the Tesla I enjoy the most out of our fleet. You are one of the very few who comment about steering feel and turn-in. You remind me of the best of Car & Driver back in the eighties and nineties when they were at the top of their editorial game with writers like Patrick Bedard. My Uncle gave me a bunch of old magazines - guys back then could drive; and would drive. Thank you for being good at what you do.

Hey Kyle superb lap thanks! I've never had a chance to try out a perf model 3, but I love the spirited driving I get on mountain roads with my SR+. It's a blast especially with regen only on rear it helps turning definitely. Btw - you have not updated the tab "EVs" on the spreadsheet 😉

@@InSaN3ViSioN ??? Long range is 1 second quicker to 60 and can put the power down easier with AWD. The SR+ also has the reluctance motor which can't hit full torque straight off (it suffers from torque flutter) - hence his comment on "softer" start. The LR and performance both use a reluctance and induction motor pair, the first for efficiency and the second for instant 100% torque - so has a much more aggressive acceleration so picks up much quicker on exist from corners.
