So it's been two years. Track mode on the MYP is out and I absolutely love how much it changes the character of the vehicle. LOOKING forward to seeing a lap with your driving!!!

Thanks for lending your Model Y to Kyle’s capable hands. Beautiful color and interior. Curious who’s hat was reflected in that awesome panoramic roof? 🧑🏼🌾

@@garyclark6747 That's Don's hat. He has a hat holder up there. I gave him a bit of a hard time about it blocking the beautiful glass roof, but he really needs a safe place for the hat. When we watched the video, we thought, darn we should have taken that down for Kyle. We just didn't "see" it.

Next time I'll take my hat holder down! Really enjoyed being at the track and you ripping around. Well worth the tire wear!

I think the 3 and Y need adaptive dampers so we could have a firmer setting for hard driving, and a comfort mode for long distance drives. When even a Honda Civic has adaptive dampers, it is really frustrating it’s not even an option on the 3/Y. It should absolutely be STANDARD on Performance models as their huge heavy wheels make the ride often feel brittle. On a random note, who else would love a future Performance Model 3 and Y to offer a tri-motor setup? A less expensive option would likely be for Tesla to develop an efficient electronically controlled rear differential that would enable torque vectoring on the rear axle without the cost or weight of a third motor.

I got my Model Y recently. I hate that you had to look down at the screen to see the speed while going over 100 mph. Head-up display should come standard.

My last true performance car was a 2014 Stingray with Z51 and I like my MY more.

It's been 2 years, where's that track mode for the Y?

A Jaguar I-Pace "SUV" would be a cool comparison to the Model Y.

Stelvio QV is almost certainly the top handling performance in the SUV realm but they compromised on comfort to get there. As did Tesla with those Uberturbines, haha.
@OneLap4 жыл бұрын
Yes the Stelvio QV is unbearably rough! But truly a fun thing...

What is a Tesla model Y performance with “the performance upgrade”. I don’t get it. Is there such thing as a model Y performance without the performance upgrade ? What’s difference. Thanks anyone.

Why does a staggered set up event exist if it’s bad for the car? Why does this matter so much?
