While I gigantically loved Tennant, the moment where Smith said "I'm the Doctor. Basically, run" I could have died a happy lady, because that was just the perfect moment. I will always love Tennant, and I AM sad he had to leave, but Smith is really good aswell. The two are evenly tied, they're both perfect in their own ways.

I've been a hardcore Tennant fangirl since I was 13, some of my favorite Dr. Who moments have been from his episodes, and I was raised on Doctor Who by extremely nerdy uncles, but I have to say as much as I love Tennant, I think Matt Smith is doing an equally fantastic job! I love 11, I think the way he's playing The Doctor gives it his own memorable spin while still staying true to all the previous plots and Doctors before him.

@LegoDaleks Donna brought a similiar point up in "fires of pompeii" they can say stuff in other languages. the TARDIS just translates it into the language they understand best. like on christmas invasion when the aliens were speaking in his normal tongue and it translated into english halfway through the sentence and he claimed he wasn't speaking english. it's just the language they understand best. or so i've observed

Moff has no current plans to bring the daleks back, as he said, "it's time to give them (daleks) a break, it's a big universe with lots of things the doctor needs to come up against" (or words to that effect)
