Its safe to say, Chip touched a lot of people. He always made me smile. I've been watching a lot of your videos lately, and Chip always reminded me when my dog used to come check on me when i was working in the shop. Once, she sniffed one of my projects, a maple monitor stand. Months later, i happened to touch my monitor stand, and her wet nose had raised the grain of the maple. She was gone 3 days after i found that. Years later, that little rough spot is the perfect reminder. Chip was the goodest boy. Take care of yourself.

shamed to say I'm late to hearing the news...I've been watching your videos all day, at work to the side and when I got home I got the urge to organize my tackle and eat dinner. During that I watched Chip and his goofiness and thought to myself 'he is a great dog and I hope that he is doing well right about now'... This was the next video that played. 😢 I am heartbroken to hear about Chip and I know the pain of how quiet the home can get when one looses part of the family. Best wishes and condolences to you and the fam. Remember, they never leave us. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed. I know how tacky it sounds but that was the only thought that helped with my mother in 19'. I look for little hints they give like in a beautiful sunset, or when the cool wind blows the trees and reminds us of who we loved. I am sure Chip will be dropping by to say hello every now and then in his own way. He was a great spirit and we will all miss him. Cheers, and happy trails.

Saturday my best buddy Tucker passed, he was a German Shepherd x pitbull mix and passed unexpectedly after getting braided line ingested and tangled in his intestines. It wouldn't show up on x-ray and when they finally found it during a surgery it was too late. He got sepsis during the few hours the vets weren't with him and passed in his sleep. He would have been 4 on the 28th and I've been watching you since just before we got him. I'm sure this video was hard to make, but thank you Nate. I don't know why but I guess it's a bit of a reminder that things will go on. These videos were here before tucker and there will be others after. Only time will tell how things end up but as long as you make these videos I'll be here to watch them. In memory of all our furry friends.

I'm so sorry to hear this news, but so happy you honored his memory in a great way (and didn't lose the lure!). I lost a pet just this past weekend. It's challenging to get past losing a friend that's been a staple in the things you do. bearsbreweryadventures was my ferrets channel and he made it to 9 yrs old. He was so social that he was held by over 1800 people. I miss him dearly. We still have a full house with 3 dogs though, so no shortage of attention.
