Such a gorgeous book - each shed is unique and inspiring, and I love all the tiny details Kotite features to help readers imagine how to create their own She Sheds kzbin.infoUgkxe9yi0sulKgsp0VJJCIrLWWkvVqcU7LFR . I found the chapters in kzbin.infoUgkxYGamVaHfdHiPlAQaLa7zkwR02OKpGYDU to be very relevant to my project as I embarked on building my first ever structure from the ground up. I especially found this Ryan’s Shed Plans to be of great use when it came to building the roof. I was able to do all the cuts and installation by myself, with a little reference to this Ryan’s Shed Plans.

Great job to that installer... made me tired just watching him. i can't work THAT hard anymore

Here’s the reality... I built my own garage for the first time... it’s a 24x27 pole barn. It took me probably 2 months... I didn’t have much help at all. Had the posts and 2x4s& 2x6s along the sides in a couple days... built my own trusses took a few days... then had a guy help me hang them the next weekend. In the next week done the sides with metal. The week after done the roof 2x4s along top and metal then took a month to get someone to do concrete.. I don’t do concrete... takes awhile when you try for the first time.

That said, it took 6 guys 2 weeks to build my building. if you people think that this is impressive, you’re really out of touch with reality. I’ve been building houses for over 25 years when we start on a slab we will start on one Monday morning 3600 square-foot house by Friday the house is constructed in blacked in. on average we build three houses a month with five people and I’m not special. There is thousands of construction workers out there that do this so I don’t be a cheapskate paying them what it’s worth. The days of 3.50 a foot are over.

Still impressive.

Two guys I can believe, just setting trusses requires checking measurements getting up and down multiple times, it's bull. It also requires prep of sorting everything out in a plan of attack and without const exp it' can turn into a bungled mess lacking experience. Easier than from scratch yes but people watch crap like the DIY channel and discover things are not as easy as it seems and usually end up in a mess and have to call in a experienced person to either fix it or do it and fixing it takes llonger and costs more.
