I use similar method, works all the time. 👍🏽 However, I keep my canopy attached to the frame while it is packed. Makes setup and pack down a lot quicker.

Yes keeping the top on is definitely the go. Unfortunate that the top on mine doesn't fit in the bag when left on.

Marvin, great demonstration. May I add that if you stake down one corner, you don't have to keep moving around to open it up once the canopy is on. Cheers!

Gazebo or tarp? Gazebo or sun shelter? Any advice?

They all do different things. Gazebo: big, bulky, heavy, has accessories like wall, tent etc. Tarp: light weight more complitated to errect and only good for shelter. Sun shelter: small only for shade
