I've said it before, but I'll say it again, the father/son relationship that Tom and his dad have, is a big part of why I watch the channel. It's not always sunshine and roses, but it's real and the respect they have for each other is obvious, so is how proud he is of Tom, lovely to hear but it's so obvious watching the videos

Farmers and Truck drivers are the heart and soul of our country. Both seriously under valued. The long lonely hours they work is so under estimated by the whole of the country.

Hi Tom, your dad is spot on, I work as a tech for a local utility company and a lot of my work involves farms especially in Cumbria. If it's offered I always take the time to have a brew and a chat especially on the remote farms as I'm conscious I may be the first person they have seen in days if not weeks. Cheers K.

I can't wait for the first cut, although one of my favorite things is the tedding which, as I understand, you won't need to do any more. Looking forward to Friday AND Sunday!!! Unless you have lived on a farm, you have no idea what goes on behind the lines. Your videos show the good, new equipment and friends, and the bad, repairing broken equipment, that you have to deal with daily. Working in miserable weather, up to your knees in poo, up at 4 or 5 in the morning living on 6 hours of sleep 7 days a week, to keep people supplied with milk products. It was a hard job but rewarding. Thanks for the great memories I have forgotten about. Not to mention the advancements in the equipment.😮. Your dad is a great supporter to you.

95% ❤ respect the warrior he comes from a generation where talking wasn't done and taking the time to tell his son how proud he is of him is amazing to see. You could see Tom's appreciation. Love watching your videos much respect and one day I'll drive the 8 hours to support the farm shop. Even better if you would consider some more subtly branded merch, hoodie with a small logo.

Conditioner absolute must on my farm nowadays. If first cut isnt to late and the weather is good everything gets mowed with conditioner and swathed after one day and chopped right away. Really no need to tedd it out. You will get less loss in the field due to tedding it when its already drying out. Im pretty sure you will notice a difference!

Looking forward to seeing the results of the none conditioner mower compared to the mower conditioner. I have the perception that Malone kit is hard to beat and they do their homework prior to going into full production on a product. As a Dad myself nice to hear those comments and the fact you are sending out help and support to other farmers who are struggling and giving them heads up on the yellow wellies scheme. Tom with a conditioning mower tedding isn’t as necessary. In a wet year you will have less soil contamination because plain mower s leave grass harder to ted, rake, and harder on the chopper. A raked sward after a conditioner will feed smoother into the chopper

Advice from someone working with conditioner mowers for 25year, a conditioner with help with drying but.... Will never be as good as a tedder, u will still have to shake it, you will have to lower the conditioner part way to get the grass to hit the back gates enough to narrow it in-between your wheels, a front mower is no good for doing the first few runs around the outside more so at the corners, the tractor doesn't travel where the front cut going around the corner, you can do it but you have to cut the corners square, straight out of the grass ,reverse back around and straight back in, remember these tips & ull be grand👍👍👍
