well when other youtubers make an award play button video they start by acting crazy on seeing the box then unbox it then an hour of open mouth moment then they just say "thank you guys your are the reason I get this this should be yours" and then the video is done but I think your video is a new thing which I am happy for and congrats
@Blastercadre7 жыл бұрын
I would love to see a video on a similar topic: criticism vs. negative reinforcement. On a personal note, I'm also pretty bad at taking compliments, but for different reasons I think. It's a bit more of a trust issue. Is this person falsely complimenting me just to see me make a fool outta myself? That calculation can take a long time, longer than an appropriate pause in conversation.
@dawsonadams96126 жыл бұрын
I can't believe it took 10 years for 1 mil. I can't see why so few people subbed over that many years. You're very original, unique, and a very down to Earth person. Watching your videos today makes me feel like I'm in the old days of KZbin.

ikr he deserves more.. but that's unfortunately how youtube is becoming; original and unique creators are been put down the drain by nonsense creators

I dig it when you're so humble especially when achieving such a high plateau. It's like my mother used to say to me, "Son, chances go round. The same people you meet coming up will all make the same faces at you coming down."
@JustNikoo5 жыл бұрын
This is honestly sad because I knew your account for so long and can remember you were one of the most subscribed human in the world. You don’t even have a tick or something from KZbin but it hurts me to see someone who really works hard for his channel and his community and see how you actually bring good quality here and no one doesn’t even care - not even in the comments. All these guys are boring as fu. I really hope the best for you and you should have reach at least 10 mil it would be just fair .. you’re always a legend. Thanks for being here. I have to move on now.

I appreciate your humble honesty here and I wish we had more people doing this. "The measure of a person's character" 1:50 This is spot on my good man. Very eloquently and accurately said in my opinion. The fact that you get stumped with a compliment I can relate to as well, simply due to the fact that I don't want to be arrogant, even on the smallest level. ::wants to cover more aspects of what is said in this video but also doesn't want to spoil it for the rest of the group:: I think the most important and agreeable thing here is that one should not use people, numbers, objects, and circumstances to project outwardly in order to attain gratification through means of advantages gained. If anything, one should always remember their passions and personal purpose for living (if understood) in order to truly appreciate and embrace that of which is precious in being in existence. Sharing growth with appreciation is one thing. Stapling a status to that growth by means of showing off is another. This video does very well to show that it is a moment of growth that doesn't go unappreciated but also doesn't exaggerate and project self gratifying falseness of status and superficiality.

I must say, I watched chocolate rain when it first became viral in 2007, I loved it! The songs that came after that made me lose a bit of interest to say the truth. So I didn't really follow the channel for years. I came back just to see what's up, and I watch this video and it is some awesome inspirational stuff. That part about the measure of a person's character really hit me hard. Thanks Tay! you are awesome!

Man I really hope that you get used to compliments because I suspect you must have faced quite some discrimination and went through bullying since Chocolate Rain went viral... you've now made it ten fucking years and gained a million subscribers where anyone else would have quit or fallen into forget, so if anything, I hope you can look back on your achievements and give yourself a pat on the back as you truly deserve it. Bro, you couldn't have said that better. Although it is amazing to get awards, we are also humble. We are not defined by the success of our past, but by our progress in the future. Trophies are nothing but reminders. Goals make us prepare and go further. So screw the trophies. Lets just go for goals.

@anihilacja0107 жыл бұрын
@anihilacja0107 жыл бұрын

"only" Having one hundred people watch your content is still pretty huge thing. Internet is open space and watching famous youtubers may change the feeling about it, but compared to real life, one hundred viewers/followers/fans is a huge number. Keep on making content mate
