Yes, interesting, do more, but don't be surprised if it results in people wanting you to play more slowly overall: these scales are a lot more interesting when they don’t fly by.

I love this format, really practical and just straight on gets to it. Please keep doing these. Most lick lessons have tabs and the guy slows it down to like 15bpm and plays it 12 times whilst telling everyone the fret numbers and which fingers to put where and this quick lesson becomes 15 minutes. There are enough tutorial videos that are made for complete beginners, but i haven't seen anyone doing these super short and effective ones, please keep it this way and don't give into the ''tabs plz'' community.

Just what I was looking for to learn after my kiddo goes to sleep tonight! Keep the format short and sweet, thanks!

I think this is a fantastic idea, short to the point and and a small foot hold to climb out of any rut you may be in , Inspirado !!!

Love the new quick lesson format. I'm usually bored by long and slow 20+ minute lessons. So keep it up.

Love that scale! It is actually called the Hirajoshi scale. I use it a lot when i’m playing over a song that needs something a little more sinister sounding and i usually use it as a run up into another part of the solo

Great sound! What scales are these and what chords could you play it over?? Thanks! Happy new year!!
@saqibshabir97555 жыл бұрын
It's a very major sounding scale so what Rob played in the video was in the key of C# (Or D flat if you want to call it that). You can play the lick in a different key if you want by starting on a different fret. The chords you can play over will probably be something that's in the scale/key that the lick is in. Hope that helped.

Would like to hear that guitar unplugged as well. It obviously can scream when its plugged in but how accoustic is it unplugged? Its a great stage axe, but could it be a great practice axe when an amp is not available and you dont want to lug around an acoustic?

is there a way to get this in tabs? i much perfer to read it in tab. Ive only played by tab not someone showing on the guitar it self xD also really cool! or mabye in future use a guitar with fret markers so we can more easy se what you play where you play it. Ps i love your video's man!
@nvlarcht6 жыл бұрын
Hey there, try to slow down the video, especially when he plays it slow. I believe the infinity sign he has on the fretboard is at the 12th fret, use that as a reference, just watch his hands and listen. It will make your life a lot easier to not look for tabs.
