I just traded my 17 Eco premium for a 18 GT. Love it! Heavier? Yes, less low end torque yes, but that sound is unmatched. Going to do the struts for sure next spring.

I tried the hood strut install on my 2015 , the hood was difficult to align after, so I went back to the prop rod, I may give it another shot with a different brand. Maybe the redline ones. Take it easy

Ah gotcha, yeah it looks like these worked pretty well. These were the Ford performance ones though.

Both are beautiful cars! I have a 2017 Ecoboost and my new 2024 GT arrived at the dealer. Going to go pick it up Friday if the deal works out okay. I’m super excited. Would you say it was a massive difference? Or do you somewhat miss the Ecoboost?

Nice man! Soo actually I’m going to shoot a video on this very topic tomorrow because I’ve had some thoughts on this recently. Honestly sometimes I do miss my Eco! The lack of low end torque on the GT and the heavier front end is two big reasons I miss the eco at times. But I’ll have a video out soon discussing 👍 Good luck on the deal on Friday!

Can’t wait to see it. I have a 20 Eco and I’m contemplating moving to a GT. Would love to hear thoughts from a former Eco/Current GT owner about the REAL life experiences of living with both, especially since you’re in GA like me.

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@daily_drivensame, I had a 20 Eco and now a 2018 GT. Definitely miss the low end torque and nimbleness of the eco at times, but I guess that’s the trade off. Love my 2018 GT tho, she is a beauty and a beast 😊
