One of Des Moines' most historic homes is for sale

I lived on Forest Drive in 1968 across from a vacant Victorian gingerbread mansion on top of a hill below which was a sweeping lawn bordered by Grand Ave. I was told it was called the "Hubbell House." I is now the governor's mansion and called Terrace Hill. Was I misinformed?
