Geez Jayme---all you need is a bucket of ice and you've got the full meal deal! Seriously though, that's the kind of riff I would want to teach to a beginner on bass just to watch his mind twist.....ha ha. Killer Grabber. I see you changed the bridge out. Did you do the work yourself?

thanks chris! Ya its a killer riff for sure! I didn't do the work myself but I should have, the highest string is a little too close to the edge. I'll probably end up putting the original back in.

Please do! Just keep in mind that apart from the Steel Panther, I was playing from memory after decades of no bass playing at all, and I did it just to see if I could make that thing sound decent. It's built for rock and rock only, and the bridge string width (from E to G) is at least 1/8 of an inch wider than a Fender Jazz, so it was a "stretch" for me.

Jayme I saw this bass on Pinterest yesterday. I drop tune to C but still can't get it right , but will have it tomorrow. When I can't figure something out the next day it's so easy , wonder why that is. Maybe a brain fart or fog.

+Mark S Beretta Hm, not sure, but I'd just say double check your tuning - it's C - G - C -F from your lowest to highest string. Hope that helps!
