I've been really struggling with pulling the arms down, leading me to come over the top, so this is exactly what i need. Excited to try this out!

Thank you Larry, Squencing is so underrated and so important. I am a chronic lead with the left shoulder player. A disease that baseball graciously presented me. I will work on this daily. Thanks again.

This drill really helped with how my upper body should rotate through. I never quite felt comfortable or correct with just the squat and rotate though so the second half of the drill after the squat rotate part really helped click how the upper body should feel while following though. I'm ready for lockdown and snow to be over to try these all out on the range!

The anti-1990s golf lesson I need so badly! haha... thanks Larry very good drill that easily puts it all together. Now I just need a bit of patience to just do the drill before trying full swings.

Hi Larry, love the drill! Question on the position where lower body has rotated and wrists have downhinged. You mention that majority (>50%) of weight should still be on the back foot during this position... and you use this weight to push off the back foot through impact. The other videos on golf instruction I've seen all say that you should have the majority of weight on the LEAD foot as early as the start of the downswing. What are your thoughts on this?
@leeseoWestport3 жыл бұрын
This one seems really timely for me now that my backswing is getting there.

I see this working awesome for impact and keeping the club face square as long as possible through impact. My question is regarding clubhead speed and distance. I always related clubhead speed to lag which I don't see much of in your technique. So if no lag, how do you generate higher clubhead speeds?
@LarryCheungGolf3 жыл бұрын
we don't share the same concept of lag it sounds like, I have a video where i talk about how to rethink lag that I suggest you watch, that should help answer your question =)

Larry you have another video from months ago about a drill to help rotation through impact without using the arms and hands to deliver the club. I remember doing the drill in my garage before the weather turned. You mention starting off small and slow at something like 10% and working your way up. I want to get back to that but idr what the video is. Any chance of pointing me to it?
@LarryCheungGolf3 жыл бұрын
Not sure which one you are referring to, I'm sure you will find it if you look closely as I did not remove any videos =)

Larry, thank you fir your your videos! One question, why do you recommend down-hinging at ~ P5? Does that not lose speed? I would imaging one would down-hinge closer to P7?
@LarryCheungGolf3 жыл бұрын
you will not lose speed, if you try to downhinge at p7, its too late =)

When uncertain, take time to think. Once certain, remember how you went from uncertain to certain. If you can’t, you’re not really certain
