One of my new favorite maps of all time! | Darkmoon Ruins - Full Clear

Oke so, this map is really awesome. This is easily one of my new favorite custom maps of all time, the gameplay flows so well and is really fun to execute, there is also so many really cool and creative rooms, the decoration and aesthetic is just like out of this world (pun intended), the music is a jam, everything about this map is just really good. Please give it a shot if you feel like your skilled enough, you probably wont regret it.
I played basically completely without savestates up to the final room of checkpoint 5 cause fun wanted to challenge my reading but from that point started to use savestate practice again like I normally do to make the final checkpoint more enjoyable for myself.

you know after revisiting this video i remember why i didnt like the second checkpoint of the level it was giving me serious sensory overload and made it a lot harder to read some of the rooms lmao i kinda wish i had pushed through the burnout as well because i remember only having four rooms left in the map guess you can't fix what happened six months ago though

So i just finished this map and it is awesome! I like that the gameplay moves so fast that it never feels repetitive and the atmosphere is great! It is my first hardlist clear and im trying to beat MOTU as my next one

A golden on this map is extremely stupid so there is also 2 silvers splitting the map in 2 making it a bit more viable

despite being likely too bad at the game to finish the map (yay 3 hours to get into middle of checkpoint 2), i really like the parts of the map i’ve played so far the movement flows so good, and even the first bit music is banger. can’t wait to not beat the map after 100 hours (hmm), though definitely going to play at least up to 4th checkpoint

What's the difference between the golden berry and the silver berry ? I thought for a long time they are the same but if they're both here they have to be different, right ? What's different

there is 2 silvers in the map, one for this first half (cp1-4) and one for the second half (5-6) because a single golden would be wayy too hard for the current players skill levels

@@xavierbolduc0913 Yes, they are. Basically silvers are just goldens but the map is very long, or when the mod is just a group of small maps, like in every contest or collab. In general in contests and collabs, getting all silver berries gets you a rainbow berry, as a fun reward.

iirc you can wallbounce up to 5 pixels away from a wall meanwhile the hitbox of the dust only extends 3 pixels from the wall
