As someone who is getting burnt out by the constant Rolex churn of the KZbin watch channels, stuff like this, even if completely out of my price range, is appreciated.

Yes. This one is definitely easy on the eyes, even if it's way out of my price range.

Have to agree. I've actually started skipping videos on favorite channels when I see another Rolex being reviewed. There are so many more examples of desirable and exquisite watches to end up so limited to Rolex.
@tonyrome6553 жыл бұрын
The endless Roles reviews are so played out. The over hyped Crown has become boring.
@smashexentertainment6763 жыл бұрын
Rolex is a safe bet to get views. Fanboys gonna leave glorification comments, haters click to leave a hate comment, Omega, Tudor fans click to say their watches are cheaper and better and all of them will start a holy war, so people will keep coming back to reply. I ofc have couple Rolex watches on my wish list among variety of other watches, but I already know everything I need to know about them.

My compliments go out to you Teddy and, if you have a production team that assists you with putting these videos together, kudos goes to that team as well! The professional camera work, editing and sound design in your videos is top notch, and it is one of the reasons your channel is my number one watch collecting channel. You have reviewed some stellar watches over the years that are representative of some of the great artistic achievements in horology, and so it is quite fitting that your channel also mirrors this artistry with your filming and editing.

Have never seen one in person. But apparently Laurent ferried finishing is just slightly below the finishing levels of Philippe dufour, Romain gauthier, greubel forsey. At much lower price points. The brand has also some marketing problems really picking it up in a world where some of the other independents don’t have an issue selling their watches (fpj, moser, Grönefeld, de Bethune). Anyways, great watch from a master craftsman.

Keep up the reviews Teddy, mainstream, micro brand, family owned etc. It's all good to get an insight as to what is out there with an unbiased review just stating the observations.The chance of acquiring a LF are slim to nothing for me but it's very interesting to know more about them regardless. As an aside until I started looking at your channel content I dismissed Nomos as noise as a popup that had not yet deflated into a past life, however I ended up scratching the itch and now have a Ludwig Neomatik 36 that I'm very pleased with, partly thanks to you Teddy for the reviews and comments.

Love the video, feel free to mix it up Teddy. Personally I love the watches you review that are £1000 to £5000 but love the fact you include much higher priced watches and also at the more affordable range. Some channels focus too much in one range which becomes repetitive, so it's a thumbs up from me 👍

Well done for stepping out of the repetitive narrative of Rolex, PP, AP, Tag, etc and showing us some other lesser known brands. Like many watch enthusiasts, I'm unlikely to want to spend $20k+ just for the badge on the front of a watch. I want to buy a quality watch that has the distinction of being from a smaller boutique. I enjoy my Edox and my Armand Nicolet watches very much and they are every bit as good quality as the big brands.

Have you ever heard of Pequignet? They're part of the few remaining French companies that would fit in with Haute Horlogerie. Their flagship movement is their in-house automatic calibre royal, which they also have a manual version of. Their watches are certainly interesting from a design and even technical perspective, and are priced well under more famous brands like Jaeger-LeCoultre

3 years ago, I had the opportunity to meet L Ferrier at his manufacture in Geneva, the guy was nice until I told him I could not afford to buy any of his watches, and suddenly, he showed me the way to the exit door!! I do not like his pieces, very or too expensive! I do prefer a nice Frederique Constant, a Longines Elegance or a Raymond Weil Maestro automatic which gives you the same for 10 times cheaper!

Still don’t get why spending 35K on a quite simple (no complication) SS pre-owned watch with an ambiguous design, when there are timepieces that are definitely more stunning and way more significant in horological terms for the same money. Will go for Lange or Breguet any time.
