The trap was made in Sweden by Silva Miljö AB, but this particular one was distributed in Germany by SWOOD DESIGN GmbH, and the packaging, all in German, reads: The New Mouse Trap Wippo Matic Design protection and patent pend. • Simple - no difficult adjustments. • Safe bait application. • Catches many mice without extra handling. • Effective for several weeks without supervision. How to do it: 1. Half fill a bucket with water. 2. Assemble the trap as shown in the illustration. By adding [antifreeze], the mice die faster and you avoid unnecessary suffering. No annoying smell even after several weeks. Warning! If [antifreeze] or detergent is used, please keep the trap out of the reach of children and pets. As I watch your videos I have come to realize something. This style of mousetrap, if built well, is always the most effective. Paired with an almighty ramp and bucket full of water and soap with some peanut butter and seeds as bait? It literally cannot get any better.

Shawn, you should use your experience and design a mobile rat catcher mounted to a trailer. In New York during the pandemic they had the rats come out really aggressively because there wasn't the typical trash for them to eat. If they had had trailers with rat traps like you've showcased, they could have caught thousands of them. They could have simply left them on the streets overnight.

It is simple, yeah, but what we don't get to see is the countless hours of research put in the designing, testing and redesigning it to make a good mechanisms work in the precise way and with the precise timing, and that includes research in all stages.
