I have 10 scooters: Segway GT2, ZT3 Pro (on the way), Max G2, F65, F25s, C2 Pros, and two Gotrax GX0’s. I gave the F65 and F25s to my nephew but the rest I and my kids and girlfriend ride daily for fun. I’m in amazing physical shape from all the sidewalk surfing and mountain bike trails. It’s all thanks to this channel. Best hobby ever.

Only 10? You dilettante, you pretender! This channel is for people that have some skin in the game! Come back when you've got real collection! (Because it's the Internet and you never know: totally kidding. That's a lot of scooters. I have a GT2 and I really love it. I know there are faster scooters but, the ride quality, the stability, the ergonomics, the fact that it will still pull hard when accelerating from 30, all stuff that doesn't show up on s performance chart but definitely contribute to the riding experience.

I bought the VX2 Pro GT just before Labor Day and I just hit 400 miles on it today. I was looking for something to commute with on the train and through the downtown streets of Chicago and it’s perfect. The size/ weight to speed/ acceleration ratio is outstanding! Not exaggerating, I’m literally passing cars driving down the street. I bought this 100% after watching Paul’s review and couldn’t be happier. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, does it limit the top speed in ECO mode? (Not counting the 24 mph top speed in beast mode obviously)
@Patriot36Ай бұрын
I needed a vacation scooter and purchased the VX2 Pro GT because of Paul's review here at ESG. I was actually waiting for the release of the Apollo GO but after absorbing all the information, it came down to suspension or range. Since I could live without suspension but definitely didn't want my hands tied with range, I went the way of the Pro GT which has provided a ton of freedom in this regard. Once in San Diego I put 39.8mi on it during a half day outing, visiting the museum ships, wildlife refuge, coffee and skateboard shops and cruising near the naval base. To be honest, had the Apollo Go been available with a 720Wh battery, I probably still would have gone with it but I've been very satisfied with the VX2. It's the scooter I keep at the front door for mailbox and drug store runs when it's not serving in the vacation role. As a side note to ESG & RK9, I also purchased the GX3 because of Paul. Mitchell greatly influenced the purchasing my 1st ever scooter the Varla Pegasus (3+ years ago) as well as the Klima Max (this year). Thanks guys!

I thought about a VMax scooter as well, but there’s no way the VX2 is climbing the hill up to my house, so I got the Apollo Go because I knew I needed dual motors, and the suspension is nice due to all the broken and uneven pavement. I use that little guy every day either to work or to the gym, sometimes both. I put 3-6 miles on it every day. Depending on how mild winter is I’ll have put over 1000 miles on it before I’ve had it for a year. For going farther I have the Apollo Pro and I have the Phantom 2.0 on pre order I need hydraulic discs on proper fast scooters.
@Patriot36Ай бұрын
@@berengerchristy6256 With regards to hill climbing, I completely understand why you'd think that because of the dual vs single motors spec. It turns out the VX2 Pro and VX2 Extreme both out climb the Apollo Go on ESG's 10% hill climb test. Apollo Go(12sec.) VX2 Pro (11.7sec.) VX2 Extreme 10.2sec). The gap is bigger as the grade of hill increases. Paul at ESG road the VX2 Extreme up a 32.5% grade, while the the max tested grade for the Apollo Go is less than 28%. Tom's Gadget Garage took the Apollo Go up a 23.5% grade and it dropped to 3-4mph at which time he was having trouble balancing... but it did make it. In any case, the Go is an amazing scooter by all accounts and often beats scooters in its commuter class, with range being the exception. No wonder you've enjoyed it so much! Wow on that Phantom Stellar. I want one, I'm just not going to part with $3500 for 6-8 months waiting for it. I don't even part with that much $ up front when I make a deposit for an ordered car.

Bought my vx2 pro based on your first review of it and just passed 666 miles this week (just in time for halloween)! It's been really solid despite my riding it hard as a daily commuter. Once I even completely submerged it in a flooded street, and it wasn't bothered at all. I do agree that suspension and stronger brakes would be nice, but otherwise expect to ride it until the battery wears out.
@lachlanbrown3112Ай бұрын
I suspect that suspension may reduce wear and tear on the scooters by reducing vibrations and the impact of bumps though. So maybe suspension increases reliability. Just a thought

I thought you had forgotten about making this video but nice to finally see it. ...and I still hate seeing that crash. To be honest, I kinda expected to see gloves on your hands.. haha. After your crash I purchased knee pads and lost the front end about two weeks later on the RS5 Max, my first crash in 3 years. The front tire lost pressure during the ride and only had about 10-12lbs left when I made a 90° right hand turn. The scooter washed out to left and I went superman off to the right. The pads and gloves saved me from everything except a sore shoulder. In any case, thank you! You probably saved me from a lot of bruising and road rash.

*Awesome review for sure!!!* Iam always comparing scooters to my several Apollo Go 2024's that I own. One day will get a new scooter as these wear out eventually. I can not live without dual front and rear suspension and regen brakes. Only have used hand breaks several times due to the amazing regen brakes in all the miles on my scooters. For this *price point* awesome value!!! P.S. interesting about your crash. My things I do is always hold tight on handle bar. Slow down when passing cars that can open their car doors on the street (I keep my hand on the brake in case a door goes open) and really important is any sand or gravel on my 9 inch tires will throw front wheel for a loop if turned to quickly and easily.

I have a circooter mate which i bought for $550, it does 25mph, has SUSPENTION, is bigger, adjustable handlebars, app, bright display, 6h charge, almost 500miles no issues at all! I do 15mi commute everyday with 2 bars left claimed range is 20-25 and ig thats the only thing the scooter in video is good at but imo the scooter i have is one of the BEST undeer 1k

I've been binge watching your channel recently and I still have questions: Which scooter company has the best customer service and spare parts availability? And which company has the best warranty? Easiness to claim, talk to actual person NOT ai robot and/or may be goes above and beyond to customer experience. Thanks.

This scooter packs a punch at a great price. When you say "but"when reviewing items, it paints a negative connotation to whatever you said prior. It's like saying honey I love you, but I'm moving on😂. Use however or a different conjunction my 2 cents.

Would REALLY APPRECIATE if your channel could make a video for the most reliable for under 500 but in EUROPE please !!! Because it's always in the USA=> the scooters you make videos of. (As a US citizen living in Europe, brands here differ greatly, prices too, and I don't know what are the good brands here in Europe because a cheap scooter for the US market could be 3x more expensive here because of Shipping...) An idea for a futur video of yours maybe...Please ??? (PS: brands like PURE & other for the European market THANK U SO MUCH !)²
