thanks, your video pushed me to order the white panda dial, I love integrated bracelet watches, never thought GG inspired watches will make it to sub-500 price ranges, and we have to thanks Tissot for making it a trend. I loved my white quartz PRX with the textured dial but even on 22cm wrist it wore too big, I have Tudor Royal now but don't want to wear it every day, for me the price is still a lot of money for a daily watch, and this Citizen looks fantastic. Got mine for 407 EUR, (well it's about 435 or so, but got a coupon for registration 5% and 1,5% for bank transfer payment instead of card, so saved 30), but for that price it is amazing watch for anyone who likes this style of watches

Dude.. you need to check out the Casio lineage LIW-M700D. In my opinion it offers the most "timekeeping" features of anyy analog style watch and its not even close. The only thing is its JDM and we need to import...but the price is under 300 usd

At 13.5 mm , the PRX you are comparing the Citizen to must be automatic. I don’t have the quartz PRX thickness number at my fingertips, but there’s no way it’s thicker than the Citizen. I really like the way Citizen put TITANIUM on the subdial at 6. This Citizen with titanium and Exo-Drive and that textury dial etc has a lot going for it. For a comparison though, the Timex Q 40mm Chronograph, available in panda and reverse panda, identical case, can be had for $219 on a steel bracelet to go with its case. $112 on a leather strap. And a slick screw off battery port, since it isn’t solar.

I think Citizen is far superior to Seiko. All Citizen movements are made in Japan. Many Seiko movements are made in Malaysia and the watches are assembled in China. Seiko have become overpriced trash. An Invicta is better. I love my Citizen watches. My favorite is a real Gold plated Eagle 7 automatic dress watch from the 1970s or 80s. It keeps the best time of any of my mechanical watches. I love my original Citizen Nighthawk too. It's close to 20 years old. It needed a new capacitor (battery). No problem. I replaced it myself. I also installed a double domed AR coated sapphire crystal. Beautiful, functional, and rugged. I have a Seiko quartz dress tank watch. I can't imagine any other Seiko I would buy.

what difference does it make if it's assembled in china or made in Malaysia. your apple watch is made in china & india, designed in the states. your fb app is maintained in india, the us & is used all over the world while the company pays taxes in Ireland. it's not like your seiko watch is handmade. they're made with machines. unless you're buying a grand seiko, which is in a different league altogether. if you want excellent timekeeping, buy a swatch quartz or a breitling or a gshock if you want value. it'll last longer than your overpriced patek & comes in beautiful vibrant colors. giving all this meaning to a something that tells you the time of day is meaningless. or don't buy a watch at all & look at your phone for the time. 😂

Why can’t Citizen make this sort of watch with a thermocompensated quartz movement? What do they promise for this one, +-15 seconds a month or better? That’s their usual promise, and I suspect they do better in practice, but their A060 movement is good to +-5 seconds a year. They just won’t sell it on the cheap or outside Japan? I’ve had Eco-Drive radio-controlled watches for over a decade, but without reception of the radio time signal they’re not too accurate, just a decent quartz but not special.

Consider the Tactical Frog version. Super, super precise Seiko solar. Less loom. Smaller date window. Not framed date window. Not titanium, but a very nice watch and bracelet. Orient has same movement, but you’ll need a white Amazon rubber.

Was excited about this watch until seeing it on my wrist. It is a detailed dial, but it's not pretty to me. Design isn't specs. Just having a design element that can be seen in more expensive watches doesn't make the end result the same. If you try their 8 series, you see the difference.

You can’t ever compare the eco-drive to an automatic movement, especially the Tsuyosa. That inner battery of eco-drive gives that movement an expiration date. +$500 🥺Far better buys out there

The Citizen Eco-Drive movement has no such expiry date. The capacitor is easily replaceable at very low cost. Eco-Drive movements are fully serviceable and require it at vastly longer intervals than mechanical movements. It is significantly less expensive to service a Eco-Drive than a mechanical Chronograph movement.
