This is a great tune! The video was filmed at Tulsa City Limits in my hometown! I was there the night they filmed it! Was such a blast! For a short time I was actually married to a family member of Ronnie Dunn! This is one of the most recognizable line dances in all,of country music!

Brooks and Dunn were part of the 3rd revival of country music starting around the late 80's with the immergence of the Kentucky Headhunters, Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt, George Strait and many others. Country music (sometimes referred to as country/western) actually started to gain popularity with the masses in the late 40's through the 50's with stars like Hank Williams Sr,. George Jones, Gene Autry, Jimmy Rogers, Patsy Cline and Roy Acuff. Then the 2nd revival rose back in the 70's with performers that included Barbara Mandrell, Conway Twitty, Glen Cambell, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Lynn Anderson and so many others to long to list. Today's 'country music' fails in comparison, in my humble opinion, with all the crossover songs into rap, hiphop and rock that it's difficult to classify anything as real country music. By the way, there never truly was a "country and western" music. There was country (Hank Sr.) and there was western (Gene Autry or Roy Rogers or Sons of the Pioneers). But the radio stations that played country music often played western music as well. DJs would refer to their stations as "your country and western music station," and before long folks who didn't understand began calling country music "country and western music." Sort of like if a station that played jazz also played hip hop and people started calling jazz "jazz and rap music," I guess. And I agree that country music, like the old gray mare, ain't what it used to be.
